"DXD: Multiverse Journey"Chapter 225: Girls Under Siege
"Seriously, where did you all vanish to? We've been searching for ages!"
Kotori's voice rang out behind them, sharp and impatient, slicing through the group's conversation.
Shuo turned. There she was, Kotori at the head of a new wave of girls—each one a different flavor of adorable.
Miku's eyes went wide, heart pounding as she took in the scene.
"Oh my god! So many cute girls… Is this heaven?"
Before anyone could react, Miku shot to her feet and, with zero hesitation, wrapped Kotori in a bear hug.
"Red twin-tails! So soft, so squishy—this is pure happiness!"
Kotori froze, caught off guard as Miku nuzzled her like a plush toy.
"Hey! Who do you think you are? Let go! Stop hugging me!"
She struggled, but with her powers sealed and public decorum in play, Kotori was no match for Miku's enthusiastic grip.
Nearby, Kaguya set her shopping bags down and stepped up beside Kurumi, curiosity etched across her face.
"Kurumi, she looks familiar. Any idea who she is?"
Kurumi's lips twitched. "Kaguya, that's Yuzuru Miku—the pop idol. But trust me, keep your distance."
Kaguya's eyes lit up. "Wait, the one who sings 'Confession of Tears'? She's a national treasure! I listen to her all the time!"
Kurumi nodded. "That's her."
Kaguya blinked. "Then why warn me? Aren't we all fans?"
Kurumi gave her a flat look.
"We've shared a body for ages, and you still haven't noticed? Miku's got… let's just say, a special interest in girls like us."
Kaguya's jaw dropped.
"You mean—she's a yuri girl?!"
Kurumi glanced at Miku, who was still smothering Kotori with affection.
"Worse than you think. She's relentless."
At that moment, Miku's gaze shifted, landing on Yoshino—the resident cinnamon roll. Yoshino shrank behind Reine, peeking out with wide, nervous eyes.
Yoshinon popped out, tiny arms raised defensively.
"Hey, you! Lily lady staring at Yoshino—don't even think about making a move!"
The other girls, having overheard Kurumi's warning, instinctively stepped back, a collective shiver running through the group.
No one wanted to be Miku's next target.
Miku pouted, clearly displeased by their retreat, but soon turned her attention back to Kotori, her smile returning in full force.
"Hehe, little cutie, will you tell big sis your name?"
Kotori scowled, finally free and gulping fresh air.
"Back off, you crazy lesbian! Don't come near me again!"
Thanks to Kurumi's heads-up, Kotori now knew exactly what she was dealing with.
Shuo stepped in, diplomatically prying Miku off Kotori.
"Miku, if you keep squeezing her like that, she really might suffocate."
He shot Kotori a sympathetic look—Miku's embrace was no joke, especially given her, ahem, assets.
Miku, finally noticing Kotori's flushed face, let go, looking genuinely apologetic.
"Ah! Sorry, little sis—I got carried away. Are you okay?"
Kotori took deep breaths, putting as much distance between herself and Miku as possible. She glared.
"Some star you are—a total yuri maniac! Stay away from me!"
Miku wilted, putting on her best wounded-puppy act and burying herself in Shuo's arms.
"Waaah, everyone hates me…"
Shuo just sighed and patted her head, unmoved by the drama.
"Alright, Miku. Enough. Let's keep shopping."
Miku sniffled, but nodded. "Okay, I'll listen to Darling."
For the rest of the afternoon, Shuo dutifully trailed behind his horde of girls, acting as their pack mule—whatever they bought, he stashed in his system space.
But for the girls, it was anything but relaxing.
Despite Shuo's repeated pleas for Miku to behave, her "yuri rampage" continued. Origami, Mana, Nia, even Reine—all fell victim to her relentless affection.
By evening, after dinner at home, Miku insisted Shuo escort her back to her villa. If not, she'd stay the night.
Once, such a demand might have sparked jealousy.
Now? Every girl in the house, having survived Miku's "persecution," raised both hands in support.
If Miku stayed, no one would get any sleep.
So Shuo whisked her away, teleporting them instantly to her villa.
"We're home, Miku," he said gently.
Miku clung to his chest, reluctant to let go. After a long, thoughtful silence, she finally spoke.
"Darling… do you think I'm a bad girl? I—"
Shuo cut her off, voice warm and unwavering.
"Not at all. Don't overthink it, Miku. No matter what, I'll love you—now and always."
Miku's smile bloomed, happiness shining in her eyes.
The rest was sweet nothings, whispered promises, and a passionate farewell kiss—better left to the imagination.
