Chapter 157 - Chapter 157: Infinity Gauntlet From The Future

Asgard — the core of Odin's treasure vault stood empty.

Suspended silently in midair was a massive golden metal glove.

Surrounding it was a powerful particle-separation force field.

Any creature that attempted to reach into it would have their arm instantly severed by the field.

Allens stood before Odin's treasure vault, a cold smile playing on his lips as he gazed at the Infinity Gauntlet. He had no intention of testing the deadly force field before him.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., activate the Nano Core Research Laboratory."

At his command, the diamond-shaped nano core embedded in his chest glowed brightly. Countless nanoparticles floated around his body, rapidly assembling into metallic instruments.

Clank, clank, clank.

Within moments, a silver-white experimental table materialized before him — a compact, portable nano-lab filled with advanced technological equipment.

This was the core module of Allens' nano-research design. When activated, the nanoparticles multiplied rapidly, creating a temporary lab wherever he needed it.

Raising his right hand, Allens projected a 3D holographic interface in his palm. He tossed it onto the table, and his hands moved like lightning, operating the equipment with uncanny precision.

Powered by his hyper-intelligence — a mind a thousand times sharper than an ordinary human's — it took Allens less than thirty seconds to devise dozens of ways to neutralize the force field protecting the Infinity Gauntlet.

Now, he was building a simple jamming device.

Soon, a small, spider-like robot with eight mechanical legs emerged from his hand. The spider crawled forward, its legs piercing the energy field.

Zzzzt...

A faint white light flickered from the device, creating a circular gap in the barrier — just wide enough for the Infinity Gauntlet to pass through.

"Now… the Infinity Gauntlet is mine."

A cold smile curved Allens' lips as he reached into the gap and grasped the Gauntlet.

"Sir, the data indicates that the Infinity Gauntlet's proportions do not match your arm," J.A.R.V.I.S. reminded him, its calm voice echoing through the lab.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., initiate the Nano-Assimilation Integration Protocol."

Allens' tone remained steady. The nano core on his chest pulsed with blinding light as a surge of nanoparticles flowed like a tide, enveloping the massive Infinity Gauntlet.

Gradually, the golden surface shimmered with silver-white streaks as it shrank and reshaped itself — until it resembled the mechanical version Tony Stark forged in Avengers: Endgame.

Clank.

Allens raised his right arm. The Gauntlet automatically unfolded, its metal segments locking seamlessly into place around his forearm.

Hum...

The moment the Gauntlet fused completely with his arm, a wave of energy radiated outward — powerful enough to alert Odin, high within the royal palace.

"Not good. Someone has trespassed into the vault," Odin's expression hardened.

Divine power surged violently around him as he raised the Eternal Spear. In a flash of golden light, the God King appeared within his treasure vault.

Odin surveyed the room carefully, eyes narrowing as he approached the center where the Infinity Gauntlet hovered.

"What is this? A resonance from the Infinity Gauntlet of the future? Has the timeline shifted?"

His gaze swept across the vault — everything appeared untouched. The Gauntlet he had sealed away still rested in its place.

Odin frowned deeply, then vanished once more in a swirl of light.

As soon as he disappeared, a flicker of energy illuminated a dark corner — and Allens reappeared.

"Heh… Loki's magic really is useful," he murmured, eyes gleaming.

The Infinity Gauntlet was now fully integrated into his nano armor. Once he gathered all six Infinity Stones, Allens would ascend beyond the level of even the All-Father himself.

Meanwhile, Thor — recently banished from Asgard — remained unaware of these events.

At that moment, a beam of rainbow light deposited him in a small town in New Mexico. Stripped of his divine power, Thor was now weaker than an ordinary human.

There, he met Jane Foster, an astrophysicist researching dimensional energy, along with Dr. Erik Selvig and his assistant, Darcy Lewis.

At the same time, the Avengers, led by Captain America, had arrived in the same town. Looking around at the peaceful streets, Steve Rogers let out a quiet sigh.

Having seen the future, Rogers knew what was coming — Loki's arrival, the Destroyer's rampage… and the destruction that would soon follow.

"Captain Rogers, we've searched everywhere but still haven't found any trace of Mjolnir," reported Agent Phil Coulson, frowning slightly.

Despite Steve's warnings and detailed reports, there had been no sign of the hammer.

BOOM!

Suddenly, thunder crashed in the northwest outskirts. A blinding bolt of lightning struck a nearby farm, and moments later, a massive hammer plummeted from the heavens, smashing into the earth and carving out a deep crater.

"Sir! We've just received a report — someone claims a hammer fell from the sky!" an agent in a black suit and sunglasses exclaimed.

Steve Rogers glanced toward the horizon and smiled faintly. "Come on, Coulson. Let's go meet the God of Thunder."

Before Coulson could respond, Rogers drew a circle in the air using his Sling Ring, opening a glowing portal — its other end leading directly to the farm.

"Yes, sir."

Coulson nodded, though the astonishment on his face was unmistakable. Between Captain America wielding magic and the imminent arrival of Thor, even S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most seasoned agents couldn't hide their disbelief.
