Eric smiled at her question "well, why don't you figure out and tell me" Eric said before working off
Eva just stood there trying to process everything she just heard, she hook her head and headed to class where she met Jayne sitting alone with a few books in front of her
Eva grabbed a chair and sat next to her, Jayne raised her head up and met Eva's gaze but she just turned her head back to her books
"Are you mad at me?" Eva asked, "I thought you were smart" Jayne asked without lifting up her head
"Ok, that was harsh, I am sorry I didn't listen to you, those girls are jerks" Eva apologized with pleading eyes "I know right, they think the world revolves around them and the funny thing is who we all think is their lead is actually their slave" Eva added. Jayne turned to look at Eva said with a frustration. "why should I forgive you?" she asked
Eva just looked at her not knowing what to say "it is because I am your best friend?" Eva said after remembering their first encounter.
Jayne smiled and said " and don't you forget it" before she finally dropped the book she was with and faced Eva
"I didn't want to talk earlier but, you look a little pale" Jayne said touching Eva's forehead, "I have been a bit stressed I need your help" Eva said, telling her everything that happened at home out the poison and the files she found
She then asked her to help her get into the lab because unfortunately the lab are off limits without a
teacher to watch but Jayne was special. Of course no one knew why, not even her, but now it seemed to really pay off
Jayne thought about it for a while before she spoke "I can get you into the lab but can I see those files on your phones"
"I don't think you will understand" it is confusing, he wrote it in codes, Eva said handing her phone over to her
"my dad works in an office so I may" Jayne looked at the phone for a while and has expected confusion shone bright on her face before it faded slowly. she swiped right and left a couple of times before she raised her head up.
"well, this is a lot" she said, handing the phone back to Eva, "do you really want to know what is in there?" Jayne asked looking serious "yes" Eva said not wasting time.
"Well, it looks like your mom is worth a mansion, three villa and 100 million dollars in her name and if that document gets her signature she will transfer all her assets and written in the Fredrick's name" she said trying to process the look on Eva's face, but surprisingly, she didn't see the look of fear or worry for her mom.
"Do you think he can poison her for that goal?" Eva asked "No, unless he's her next of kin. If she dies, all assets and everything to her name goes to her next of kin." Jayne said grabbing a book and bringing out a pass, she got up and gestured for Eva to follow her
Everyone was still enjoying their break so the hallway was empty, they walked down to the lab but first to a an office "wait here" she said before entering
Eva waited patiently hoping they could figure out what it was, Jayne came out mid though and when she looked at the pass it now has a signature "let go" she said before leading the way to the lab
She opened and Eva got to work, she brought out some chemicals and so books, Jayne just watched, she wasn't smart like Eva when it comes to books. She's was more of a wild card as they say.
She recalled when she would cry after getting all C's in her results and would beg her parents to stay home with her just for a day "baby we have to met ends met and with that kind of result, we are very disappointed in you, you have to do better and we have to go" her mom said before both her parents walked out the door
She cried for days and refused to step out of the house
"I am done" Eva said, calling her back to reality, Jayne stood up and walk over to her "so what is our final conclusion" she asked
"I won't call it poison. It's a chemical that causes abnormal and cancerous growth in cells" she holds the test tube up and continues "We have a deadly poison that can forever undermine one's health. My mom would have been sick for the rest of her life if the was injected into her, so this is poison for sure" Eva said returning everything she picked up
"So we know Frederick is out for your mom" Jayne stated "yes, and there is no way I can tell her all this, first of all she is still unconscious, secondly, she is acting like 1960's lady who believes her husband can't hurt her" Eva said finally sitting down
"I got and idea but break is nearly over, let start heading back to our classes, we will talk on the way home" Jayne said has she got up and to leave and Eva followed behind her
Class went on has usual and Eva couldn't focus because deep down she didn't know what to do to avoid such a huge scam that could destroy her mom
After school, Eva found her way to Jayne's class with some books in front of her has before, she grabbed a chair and sat next to her
"why are you always surrounded by a lots of books?" Eva asked, Jayne chuckled has she starts to pack up
"it is a long story, have you thought of something" she asked her, Eva just shook her head feeling defeated
"Well I have an idea, you can't always be there to protect you mom so, why don't we just change the files into something different, and according to the files I saw he sign on two wrong place so I am guessing he doesn't even know how to read it, what do you think?" Jayne asked looking for a reaction on her face
