That figure was none other than Takashi Komuro, the same man who had fled earlier.
Only now, he looked nothing like his former self.
His face had turned pale and gray—almost identical to that of a zombie—though his body bore no wounds.Instead, he held a severed zombie arm in his hand and was gnawing on it as if it were a delicacy.
The sight almost made Su Yi retch.
Takashi's eyes were glowing a dark crimson. He looked straight into the sky at Su Yi, completely unfazed by the sunlight, and shouted,
"Never thought we'd meet again like this, huh?"
Su Yi slowly descended, stopping about three meters above the ground, looking down on him.
"Yeah," he replied calmly. "We meet again."
Takashi devoured the rest of the arm in a few quick bites, then patted the man beside him—Koichi Shido, who had been grotesquely transformed.
"Do you remember him?" Takashi grinned. "I gave him a full makeover. That's why he survived your attack. Impressive, right?"
A twisted, chilling smile split Takashi's face, revealing teeth stained black and red.
Su Yi cast a casual glance at the mutated Shido, then said flatly,
"Compared to that trash, I'm more curious about how you turned into this."
Takashi threw his head back and laughed hysterically.
"Because of you, of course! Hahaha!"
"If it weren't for you, I never would've run, and I never would've discovered how delicious zombies are! When I was starving and about to be bitten, I bit one first! That's when I felt something awaken inside me."
"I bet I'm the first person in the world to do it! And now, I can control every zombie on the planet! Hahaha! I'm the King of Zombies!"
"So, as thanks for giving me this gift, I'll make you my servant—and I'll take all those women for myself, too!"
Su Yi nodded slightly.
"No wonder you've become so disgusting… you've lost your humanity."
"I'm not that cowardly kid you once scared with a glare!" Takashi roared. "Now you'll see my power!"
He thrust out his hand, and the mutated Shido launched himself into the air like a rocket, soaring toward Su Yi.
"Because I'm invincible now!"
Shido's leap was impossibly fast—faster even than a missile. In an instant, he was upon Su Yi.
But Su Yi didn't even bother to engage. The true threat was already clear. The boss had shown himself—and now it was time to end him.
If he could defeat Takashi here, he could invite Saeko Busujima into the chat group and unlock new powers to strengthen everyone.
That thought alone was enough.
Golden energy lines flared across Su Yi's body, spreading in intricate patterns until he shone like a divine being—holy, radiant, and utterly untouchable.
A magnetic field surged around him, forming a powerful shockwave. With a single sweep of his arm, that invisible force slammed into Shido—
Boom!
The impact hurled Shido back to the ground even faster than he'd risen.
Su Yi didn't even want to touch him. Zombies disgusted him.
Takashi's face twisted in shock. He hadn't expected Su Yi's power to rise so sharply in such a short time.But then he grinned.
"Don't underestimate me!"
He roared, and zombies from all directions began to converge on him. Countless corpses piled atop one another, merging into a monstrous arm that reached for Su Yi like a titan's hand.
"This is ultimate power!" Takashi howled. "I am the ruler of this world! No one will ever stand against me again!"
But Su Yi's eyes remained calm—cold, almost bored.
His magnetic field surged to its limit. Everything within his sight froze, as if time itself had stopped.
The giant zombie claw halted three meters before him.
"Reverse."
The single word echoed softly.
The field shifted—and the zombie claw was instantly hurled backward, slamming into Takashi himself.
His pupils shrank in disbelief.His own creation—his army—was now turning on him.
The monstrous limb crashed down, engulfing him completely. Darkness consumed him as crushing force reduced his body to nothing but dust.
Moments later, the swarm collapsed, falling from the sky like broken puppets.
With their "king" gone, the zombies once again became mindless husks.
The women soon arrived at the battlefield.
Saya Takagi gazed at the scene before her—an aftermath that looked almost divine—and murmured,
"Is it… over?"
Rei Miyamoto nodded faintly.
"Maybe it finally is."
Saeko Busujima stepped beside her.
"You're not sad?"
Rei hesitated.
"I don't know. But if I could choose again, I'd never have met Takashi. His heart was too dark."
They had all heard Takashi's deranged words earlier. None of them felt sorrow for his end.
But just as Rei finished speaking, a crazed laugh echoed from within the pile of corpses—
"Hahaha! It hurts… it really hurts! I've never felt pain like this before! But it's fine… because I can't die!"
