Originally, before the Superman movie was released, Jim had planned a grand premiere, inviting many celebrities to attend.
This was a normal procedure for the release of a major blockbuster, and of course, he wouldn't miss out on his own "child."
However, the news of the alien invasion immediately shocked the world, causing the global populace to boil with excitement.
Jim seized the opportunity and, with Anton's agreement, decided to release the Superman movie ahead of schedule.
This disrupted Jim's original plans.
The premiere was canceled.
It wasn't that he couldn't have held it.
But contacting those busy celebrities, who were constantly on the move, a few days in advance was simply impractical.
Worth mentioning, Jim had actually done something like this before.
When Batman's global box office hit 600 million, a celebration party was held. At Anton's inexplicable insistence, it was held a day early.
The difference was that the guests for that celebration party had been contacted in advance.
Although it was moved up a day, everyone was willing to give face and cancel their plans for that evening, hoping to ride the wave of publicity.
This time, Superman didn't have as many preconditions, so Jim didn't bother to go through the trouble of organizing a premiere.
He figured that putting the effort into releasing two more trailers was more practical and effective.
As Jim expected, the promotion for Superman was quite successful, attracting the attention of most people within a week.
This included movie enthusiasts, teenagers drawn in by the aliens, DC fans, and fans of Batman, Cyborg, and others.
Especially the latter.
They knew that in the original settings of novels and comics, Superman wasn't just an alien; he was also one of the seven giants of the Justice League, a comrade of superheroes like Batman.
And in the real world, according to news reports from the Daily Bugle, Batman had really formed the Justice League, a superhero team just like in the stories.
Not long ago, during the alien invasion, Batman even led the newly formed Justice League and resolved the crisis on Earth.
Fans were greatly excited.
A legend had always circulated among the fans of DC Comics.
If Batman, Green Arrow, and Cyborg from the stories had already appeared in the real world, then wouldn't the remaining heroes be coming soon?
They even summarized a pattern.
Currently, of the three heroes from DC whose stories have been adapted, two have their own solo movies.
As for why Green Arrow isn't as prominent, they didn't know.
But that didn't stop them from looking forward to the Superman movie.
After the Superman movie's release, would Superman, the character, Clark Kent, appear in the real world as they hoped?
A superhero from another planet!
With this thought in mind, DC fans flocked to the cinemas.
The movie was released as scheduled.
Eddie even got Anton time off, and took his girlfriend, April, to see the Superman movie.
Seeing as it was for his own profit, Anton approved Eddie's request for leave.
What Anton didn't know was that not only Eddie, but even Tony Stark in Los Angeles, couldn't resist the curiosity and went to the cinema.
Including Nick Fury, Coulson, Hawkeye, and Natasha from S.H.I.E.L.D., they also booked a whole theater, contributing to Anton's revenue.
However, these people weren't there to watch the movie, but to analyze Superman's image.
They all had some understanding of the mysteries of DC Comics.
Although they didn't understand why Batman, Green Arrow, and Cyborg had appeared, they knew that these three were closely related to DC Comics, or rather, to Anton, practically being on the same side.
So, the next virtual hero from DC Comics, about to appear, was perhaps this Superman from another planet?
Was the movie release a hint from Anton?
This kind of perverse interest was something that Nick Fury and the others couldn't understand.
But they couldn't rule out the possibility.
So, they all chose to go to the cinema, intending to see in advance what kind of story this Clark Kent, nicknamed "Superman," would perform in the virtual movie world.
The movie began.
As shown in the first trailer, Krypton, where Superman was from, was completely destroyed due to the abnormal attraction of the star.
After Krypton's scientific leader, Jor-El, issued this warning, the scientific council thought he was trying to mislead people.
So, before Krypton exploded, Jor-El and his wife placed their infant son, Kal-El, in a spaceship and hastily sent it into the vast expanse of space, to continue the hope of Krypton.
Kal-El was adopted by the earthling Jonathan Kent and renamed Clark Kent.
Nick Fury and the others watched the beginning of the story.
They all fell into deep thought.
Krypton!
Aliens!
The movie's opening didn't just hit them hard; it also filled them with a sense of awe.
They had already come to believe that Superman was a real person.
Just like Batman, Green Arrow, and Cyborg, who had already appeared.
Now, even though the background was different, they couldn't help but wonder if the identities of these people in the movie's setting overlapped with reality.
Before this, they mostly thought that the backgrounds of characters like Batman were largely fictional.
After all, in the story, Gotham City, where Batman resides, and Star City, where Green Arrow is located, are places that no one has ever heard of in reality, seeming like reflections of the real world.
Central City, where Cyborg is, also seems to be just a reflection.
The difference is that the alien technology on Cyborg is somewhat perplexing.
The most convinced person, who believes that the technology on Cyborg does indeed come from outer space, is none other than Tony Stark.
What no one knows is that during a brief encounter with Cyborg, Tony cautiously probed him.
The technology on Cyborg is fundamentally different from Earth's technology.
Tony felt that something was off.
Especially Cyborg's own energy, that almost inexhaustible source of energy, is completely different from Tony's Arc Reactor.
Tony was pretty sure Cyborg was the same as in the movies, a half-human, half-machine cyborg.
Energy was a vital element supporting Cyborg's actions, like blood in the human body.
Without energy, Cyborg was no different from a dead person; even his consciousness wouldn't function.
This technology was at least a generation ahead of Earth.
Tony admitted that he could create a robot, but he couldn't create a guy like "Cyborg."
In short, if only the brain remained in a human body, could he transform it into "Cyborg"?
Tony's answer was no.
And now.
The Superman movie premiered.
In it, Superman came from Krypton.
Krypton!
Could there really be such a planet in the universe?
Kryptonians!
Could Superman really be an alien hiding on Earth?
Seeing Superman grow up under the care of his adoptive father, Jonathan Kent, and even begin to show his abilities, the people of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Tony Stark narrowed their eyes, surprised and thoughtful at the same time.
Nick Fury even wanted to take out his pager and have a serious chat with Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, who was far away in another galaxy, about the issue of Krypton.
