Drey POV
The world stood still at the sight of my brother lying in his pool of blood, and the girl I came for vanished into the night.
"She left," my wolf purred.
Dwae lay in my arms, his breathing shallow, his skin cold as if the Blood Moon itself had drained him.
I pressed my palm against his chest, trying to make his heartbeat stronger.
"Stay with me," I whispered, my throat burning like coal.
I took one last look in the direction she left and realized this time I had to let her go and hope she's safe.
The pain felt too hot for me. I wondered if my mom would be sad seeing how we've grown apart and fought among ourselves.
"Alpha, I'm sorry we are late." Anita's voice dragged me back to reality. "Oh!!, how did he end up like this?" she screamed.
"Get the best doctors; fly him out of Atlas," I said weakly.
"He must survive and shut down this place. All the other surviving werewolves taken to the villa."
