Mindy suddenly tugged on Lin Chen's clothes.
"Stinky Taoist priest, come to school with me."
"Why?" Lin Chen asked, confused.
Mindy lifted the study materials in her hand and rolled her eyes."I need to put these back in the classroom."
Left with no choice, Lin Chen followed her.
School had just ended, and students were streaming back into the classrooms. As soon as Lin Chen appeared, whispers spread instantly.
"Wow, that guy is so handsome! Is he a new teacher?"
"Didn't you see him with Mindy? Maybe he's her relative?"
"Wait—look carefully! That's Daoist Lin! The fortune-teller! His predictions are super accurate!"
"Oh my god, it is him!"
In an instant, dozens of girls rushed over. Then dozens more. Then hundreds.
They surrounded Lin Chen, asking for autographs.

The two ate their way through the afternoon.
Before leaving, Lin Chen handed Mindy several spiritual shields and protective talismans. After parting ways, he called Harley Quinn and told her he still had business to handle in New York.
Naturally, he was immediately bombarded with complaints from the women at home.
Lin Chen rolled his eyes."I recently found an investment opportunity. Guaranteed double returns. Anyone interested?"
Widow Sister, Catwoman, and Jill instantly transferred all their funds.
Mera even prepaid ten years' salary.
Only Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy waved it off casually.
"Doesn't matter," Harley said. "Whatever you give us is fine."
Poison Ivy nodded in agreement.
Lin Chen sighed deeply."Reality… is far too realistic."
He hailed a taxi and headed toward the New York Exhibition Hall.
Unnoticed, Mindy quietly slipped into another cab and followed him.

A formal dance was underway.
Lin Chen stepped inside in a single stride. The guards didn't even register his presence.
When Mindy arrived moments later, she stared blankly.
"This Taoist priest… is terrifying."
Inside the hall, Lin Chen picked up a glass of wine and scanned the crowd.
Wonder Woman—Diana—was wearing a backless evening dress, her posture elegant as she spoke quietly with Bruce Wayne.
Lin Chen walked over, smoothly avoiding two women clearly trying to bump into him on purpose.
His ears twitched slightly.
He caught every word of their conversation.
Wayne said calmly,"Miss, it seems you took something from me the other night."
Diana replied indifferently,"It isn't stealing if it's taken from a thief."
Wayne's gaze sharpened as he studied her—her flawless figure, stunning beauty, and the subtle balance of power and grace.
"Who exactly are you?"
"It doesn't matter who I am," Diana said."Lex Luthor has a photo of me. I need it back."
Wayne frowned."Miss, you're beautiful—but I've met women like you before. All routines. All trying to deceive me."
From behind them, Lin Chen chuckled.
"Wayne, who do you know that's as beautiful as her? Don't tell me you mean Aunt Selina."
Both turned their heads at the same time.
Wayne looked shocked."Daoist Lin? Why are you in New York?"
"Business," Lin Chen replied casually.
Wayne coughed awkwardly."I was talking about Catwoman… and your group."
Lin Chen smiled lightly."It's fine. Beauty can't be hidden—just like this one."
Wayne felt a familiar sense of danger.
The Taoist priest was stealing prey again.
"I met her first," Wayne protested weakly.
Lin Chen ignored him, stepped forward, wrapped an arm around Diana's waist, and raised his voice slightly.
"Sweetie, it was so hard to find you. Your breakfast this morning was amazing."
Sweetie?!
Wayne froze.
"Breakfast…?" His mind short-circuited.Those two words contained far too much information.
"Daoist," Wayne groaned, "are you overtaking on curves again?!"
"We've known each other for a long time," Lin Chen said calmly."You just didn't know. Right, Diana?"
"…Mm."
Diana didn't resist at all, letting Lin Chen hold her.
She turned to Wayne."Your device has very complex encryption. I couldn't open it."
Then she smiled faintly."But don't worry. I didn't take it. It's already back in your car."
Lin Chen's fingers pressed lightly against her waist.
"Diana, you're showing your age again."
She rolled her eyes at him."You called me 'Britney' last night. Now you're suddenly picky?"
Wayne's mouth twitched violently.

Wayne nodded grimly."I know. But Superman's last battle with the Kryptonite visitors caused massive civilian casualties. Many of my company's employees died in front of him. I can't let that continue."
Lin Chen turned back to Diana with a smile.
"Looks like one of your admirers was scared off by me."
"Then you take responsibility," Diana said, tapping his finger lightly. Her eyes shone brightly."The dance is almost over. Let's head back."
What else could Lin Chen do?
He silently cast a purification technique on himself.
For the sake of others, he would sacrifice himself.Even a demigod would have to kneel eventually.
Not far away, Mindy secretly recorded a video of Lin Chen and Wonder Woman leaving together.
She grinned wickedly.
"Oho… I finally have dirt on the stinky Taoist priest."
Later That Night
Back at his New York residence, Batman contacted Alfred.
"Alfred… I met a woman today."
Alfred was delighted."Master! You finally figured it out and brought a New York lady into your life!"
"…Unfortunately," Bruce sighed, "she already has a boyfriend."
Alfred chuckled."So what? You're Gotham's richest man. Handsome. Intelligent. Is there any corner you can't dig?"
Bruce was silent for a moment.
"…Her boyfriend is Daoist Lin."
Alfred paused.
"Master… New York has many fine women. Perhaps you should lower the difficulty."
Bruce clenched his teeth."Who are you looking down on?! Just wait!"
"…Master," Alfred added gently, "the police are very persistent."
Batman thought for a moment.
"…Forget it. I'll focus on Superman first. We'll talk about this later."
He had found himself a perfect excuse.
