Lin Chen held both girls and rushed into the super vortex.

Lightning surged through the vortex, making their scalps tingle. All three screamed at once.
Aquaman's scream echoed not far away.

Lin Chen focused his supernatural power, transformed into a giant over ten meters tall, rushed over, knocked the beast aside, and threw two heavy punches that loosened its gums.
The creature recognized the danger and fled in terror.
Lin Chen held D'Addario up and swam toward the surface.
D'Addario woke groggily, glanced at Lin Chen's giant form, and fainted again with peace of mind.

Lin Chen put her down and walked over, helping Mela up. "You alright?"
Mela nodded. "Thanks to Queen Atlanna for saving me."
"Children, why have you come here?" Aquaman's mother looked at Lin Chen with bright eyes.
When Lin Chen had transformed, all his clothes had torn apart. Now he only wore Hulk-style shorts.
Mela moved to block him. "Queen Atlanna, I'm Mela."
"You're Mela?" The queen looked her over. "You've grown so much. Are you married to my son Aum?"
She saw Mela holding Lin Chen's hand. "You won't end up like me—finding a land man and cuckolding the King of Atlantis…"
Mela couldn't explain and simply nodded.
The queen looked at Lin Chen's perfect muscles, scholarly appearance, and bright eyes, and nodded involuntarily.
"Aum's child has character flaws. I understand why you'd like this handsome young man."

After chatting, they learned Aquaman's father was still single, waiting for her. The queen finally relaxed.
"Good he didn't remarry. Otherwise, hmph!"
Aquaman's eyelids twitched. Dad's family status seemed very low.
The queen then looked at D'Addario, noting her beauty, enviable figure, and rare eyes.
She nodded. Her son had done well finding such a beautiful girlfriend.
Smiling, she asked, "Arthur, if your girlfriend and I both fell into the water, who would you save first?"
Aquaman rolled his eyes. "Mom, are you sure you'd be in danger falling into the sea?"
"That's not the point."
"…The point is, her name is Ana Daddario. She's not my girlfriend."
Though he solved the question easily, his heart felt bitter. He would've preferred a dilemma.
At least then I'd get to choose…
D'Addario felt sweet inside. The Taoist priest saved me first. That means he likes me more, right? Hee hee, I'm so troubled!
She stepped forward and hugged Lin Chen's arm. "Dear Queen Atlanna, I think you misunderstood."

The four walked and chatted.
