Anne Marie Hogg, a plump middle-aged woman and the department's operations chief, immediately dialed her superior.
She called none other than the Avengers' Chief Tactical Support Officer—Phil Coulson!

"A burning skeleton... riding a Harley motorcycle..."

The field agent, still wrapping a bandage around his arm, stared in utter disbelief.
That sounded completely insane!
Every part of that sentence was wrong!

And somehow that burning skeleton—wasn't turning into a pile of ash?!
It made no sense at all!
"Wait."

"I think... I know who that is!"

An ancient legend from Eastern Heaven flashed in his mind—
A prehistoric alliance of super beings.
Formed by the God-King Odin himself.
Members included the first Phoenix, the first Sorcerer Supreme, the first Black Panther, the first Iron Fist, the first Hulk, and—the first Ghost Rider!
The Ghost Rider—a flaming skeleton wreathed in hellfire!
That ancient alliance had fought primordial dark forces, annihilating countless evil entities.
Even the Celestials knew the name of those Prehistoric Avengers!
They were the guardians of ancient Earth—the builders of the three Sanctums that warded off the gaze of dimensional demons.
Most of the world's leyline seals were their handiwork.
"My God!"
"So the prehistoric superhero alliance actually existed?!"
Skye's voice trembled with shock.
At that very moment—
Ruins of the Midtown Financial Tower.
VROOOOM!
The roar of an engine echoed through the subterranean cavern.
A flaming skeleton in a vintage leather jacket sped downward—
The Ghost Rider, riding his Harley, descended the sheer rock wall!
Wherever the tires touched, trails of everlasting fire burned in their wake.
"The stench of rotting souls... it's nauseating."
The Rider's voice rang out, distorted and otherworldly. He swung his blazing metal chain with a sharp crack!
CRASH!
The escaped remnants that had slipped through the dimensional rift were instantly revealed—
and consumed in hellfire!
Not a trace remained.
As the Ghost Rider, the flames of the deepest layers of Hell engulfed his entire being.
This fire defied all natural laws and environmental limits—it could burn anywhere.
Even in the underwater kingdom of Atlantis.
The hellfire obeyed the Rider's will, transforming into countless shapes to sear the very souls of dark beings.
"Hmph?"
"There are this many dark creatures here?"
"Has the gate of Hell itself been opened?"
The Ghost Rider narrowed his burning eyes.
SKREEECH!
He spun the Harley in a sharp drift, tires screaming, sparks and fire flying.
The sound carried a strange, soul-shaking resonance.
The monstrous horde flooding out like a tide suddenly screamed—
as though facing their natural predator.
Terror froze their limbs.
Thud.Thud-thud.
The sound of his boots echoed, leaving molten footprints in the rock.
CLINK... CLINK...
The flaming chains rattled around him as the fiery skeleton emerged before all—
The Ghost Rider, fully revealed!
"What the—?"
"A new demon's appeared?"
The sumo warrior Tolu and Jackie Chan exchanged stunned looks.
The flaming skeleton filled them with dread.
As if things weren't chaotic enough already!
CLANG!
Ghost Rider lashed out with his chains, binding the dark creatures in groups.
WHOOOOSH!
The hellfire raced along the links—searing hot enough to burn through souls.
Every monster was instantly reduced to nothing.
The sight alone was enough to shake the senses.
"...The Spirit of Vengeance!!"
"The messenger of Hell has come?!"
Gasps and hisses filled the air.
Wind demons.Water demons.Earth demons.
They barely held their composure—
while the skeletal knight on his horse howled in despair.
Before the Spirit of Vengeance, there was no will to fight.
Instinct drove the army of monsters to flee—back to Mephisto's blackened Hell.
The Spirit of Vengeance—the source of Ghost Rider's power.
Legend says God created these spirits to punish evil and prevent humanity's fall.
But some Spirits of Vengeance betrayed their creator—and joined the demon lord Mephisto, reaping and enslaving souls.
Of course...there were exceptions.
And the man before them—Johnny Blaze—was one of them!
"Speak of the devil..."
Shen Du's lips curved into a faint smile.
Then his eyes turned toward the flaming skeleton.
Ghost Rider—the solitary enforcer whose fire burned not flesh, but souls.
His primary prey: creatures that had escaped from Hell.
Including demons.
"So terrifying..."
The girl with sharp eyeliner gasped, clutching her chest.
"Don't worry."
"I can absorb any kind of fire energy."
The tall woman beside her, her fiery hair burning like living flame, gently patted her shoulder with a kind smile.
The Phoenix Force—a power ranked even higher than the flames of Hell itself.
But if Jean Grey truly absorbed Hellfire...the psychic prison holding her dark persona would collapse instantly—
and she'd lose control completely.
Not even the Mind Stone could stop the Black Phoenix's rebirth.
"Now's our chance!"
The three mid-level demons suddenly activated their sigil power and ascended, turning elemental once again!
The Saint Van Ganza Contract—
It was what Lord Blackheart coveted most—the key to ascending into a high demon.
Failure was not an option.
Seizing the moment as the "Holy Lord" observed the newcomer, the mid-level demons split into three directions and fled!
CLANK! CLANK!
The Ghost Rider's chain cracked through the air.
The earth demon—its body of stone—was instantly ensnared.
Hellfire burst forth!
"No!!"
"Mercy!!"
The earth demon's screams were bloodcurdling.
Even the two beautiful mutant women averted their eyes.
WHOOSH!
The wind swept through.
The earth demon's ashes, burned to nothing by hellfire, scattered across the ground.
"Fool."
A thunderous dragon's roar exploded overhead.
BOOM!
Invisible telekinetic power—infused with Armament Haki—snatched the water demon out of the air!
Then came unbearable heat—
Steam filled the cavern, blotting out everything.
The water demon vanished without even a scream.
...The difference in power was obvious.
Even hellfire couldn't compare to the "Holy Lord's" sigil power!
"Stop right there!"
The fully armed archaeologist suddenly activated his divine armor, transforming into a beam of radiant light—blocking the wind demon's escape!
The divine armor granted Jackie multiple incredible abilities:flight, survival in a vacuum, resistance to dark magic,and even the ability to strike elemental beings!
"I said, STOP!"
Jackie threw a punch—
The air quaked, the dimension itself trembled!
The wind demon's true form shattered into fragments!
Even Jackie himself was stunned.
Am I... really this strong now?!
But the disaster wasn't over yet.
The dimensional rift—was expanding again.
Wider...and wider...and wider—
until it reached a size beyond imagination—
large enough for a High Demon to pass through!
