When the Alpha King failed Angelica, I wanted to laugh at her... but I couldn't. Rather than laughing at her downfall, I actually felt sorry for her. I never imagined the Alpha King'd fail her. It was her loss, by the way, since she decided to steal my recipe. I guess karma hit her hard.
I could've helped her if she hadn't tried to steal my work. I could never wish for friends who find joy in their friend's downfall.
When asked to present my food, I never expected everyone to pass me. I was impressed when Lord Alistair stood up and praised me for a well-done job. I was proud of myself, and that pride grew even more when everyone else passed me, too.
The speech that touched me the most was Lord Alistair's. He was so eloquent that I almost teared up. He reminded me of my mother—how she used to speak when she was alive.
