Chapter 194 - Chapter 194: Elisande the Siren King

The Naga are appearing so quickly?

Gale was a bit confused; do the Old Gods not need time to twist creatures?

It had only been a month since the War of the Ancients ended, and the Naga were already active, much faster than Gale had anticipated.

However, Gale didn't take the Naga to heart. Although he hadn't yet created underwater weaponry, the Sunstrider's defenses could block the Naga's attacks.

With eighty ballistas and hundreds of mages, even if they were surrounded by the Naga, it wouldn't matter. If they couldn't win, they could still break through the encirclement and escape with the speed of the magic thrusters.

What if the Naga attacked Suramar Port? Gale would even welcome them!

Mejia was getting a bit tired of monotonously casting the same spell repeatedly. The underwater environment also made him uncomfortable; it was too dark. Although he had become an undead, he still preferred bright places.

Outside the port, dozens of Naga stealthily infiltrated from underwater. Their speed was incredibly fast, and they plunged directly into the fish schools ahead.

The entire fish school scattered in all directions as if a pot had boiled over, as if they had encountered a natural predator.

The Naga, however, were not at all interested in the fish. After rushing into the port, they headed straight for the pier that was under construction. Their momentum undiminished, they seemed intent on surging ashore.

Mejia looked up, and a playful glint flashed in his eyes, which glowed with soul fire.

"Just when I was bored, they sent me a toy."

He pointed a finger, and a blast of cold air shot through the seawater directly towards the Naga.

By the time the Naga noticed the cold air, it was too late. Just as they tried to dodge, they found that the surrounding seawater had completely frozen. They tried to struggle in terror, but realized they couldn't move at all.

Before they died, their minds were full of questions: Didn't that mysterious voice say that after becoming Naga, they would possess immense power? Why were they killed so easily? If they had known this, they would rather have drowned in Sin'dorei! At least then they would have died retaining their Kaldorei appearance.

The Kaldorei were all beautiful; who would willingly become a monster unless absolutely necessary? But even becoming monsters didn't prevent their fate of death, so how could they not regret it?

"Let me see, what are you?"

Mejia crooked his finger, and the blocks of ice containing the Naga slowly moved in front of him. He carefully examined the Naga's appearance, then couldn't help but turn his head away, "So ugly!"

Although Mejia's own body wasn't exactly beautiful, his aesthetic sense was still stuck in his living days.

Even though the Naga were ugly, they still piqued Mejia's interest. He had never seen such new creatures and was eager to conduct some research on them.

However, the commotion on the surface of the sea forced Mejia to stop. Mejia hid the ice blocks at the bottom of the sea, then waved the tidal scepter, using the water current to propel himself quickly to the surface.

"Whoosh—"

A horn blast echoed through Suramar Port. On the completed pier, ballistas quickly turned their directions. On the Mage Tower at the top of the pier, flashes of teleportation magic constantly appeared, and mages stood on the magic circles, activating the pre-set spells on the Mage Tower.

Gale also teleported to the pier, looking at the sea surface in disbelief.

He hadn't expected the Naga to actually dare to attack Suramar Port.

Thousands of yards away from Suramar Port, rows of Naga appeared, slowly advancing towards Suramar Port. Behind these Naga, a larger Naga slowly emerged from the sea, eventually reaching a height of fifty yards.

She was a female Naga, her figure relatively slender compared to male Naga. Her hair was made of venomous snakes, each one constantly writhing as if ready to devour someone. She had four arms, each holding a weapon: a staff, an orb, a spellbook, and a mageblade.

She glared fiercely at Suramar Port, roaring furiously: "Gale, you bandit! You not only stole my treasure but also want to occupy my city. May you die a terrible death!"

Gale looked at her thoughtfully, and then, in disbelief, spoke her name: "Elisande?"

Everyone was in an uproar. This giant creature was actually Elisande?

The female Naga: "Gale, I didn't expect you to still recognize me."

"You've turned into this monstrous appearance, who could recognize you?" Gale sneered.

Elisande shrieked: "If it weren't for you, how would I have turned into this monstrous appearance?"

When the portal exploded, Nasha and the others only had time to collect the artifacts and no time to deal with Elisande's body. Gale also forgot to capture Elisande's soul; after all, Elisande lived ten thousand years later in the original history, and he subconsciously thought Elisande wasn't that important.

As a result, the Old Gods seized this loophole and transformed Elisande into a Naga, replacing Azshara.

Around Elisande, wind and thunder raged, and hurricanes appeared on the sea, rapidly moving towards the port.

Heavy rain fell on Suramar Port, severely affecting the Kaldorei's vision. Strong winds blew the ballistas askew, and the Mage Tower also swayed back and forth.

Elisande laughed heartily: "Do you see? Gale, this is my power now. Even without the eye of aman'thul, I can still cast powerful spells. I will reclaim Suramar, reclaim everything I have lost."

"From now on, the ocean is my domain. Gale, you'd best hide on land and never go into the sea. Otherwise, the sea will be your burial place."

"I am the Queen of the Sirens!"

Gale chuckled disdainfully, and the eternal spear struck the ground. Seven divine powers immediately erupted, soaring into the sky. The divine power rapidly spread, and wherever it passed, the wind stopped, the rain ceased, the powerful hurricanes gradually dissipated, and the sea quickly calmed down, without even a single ripple.

"This… this is impossible!"

Elisande couldn't believe the scene before her. That was her most powerful spell just now, yet Gale had easily dispelled it?

"Nothing is impossible!" Gale said: "Elisande, this time I won't let you escape again."

Saying that, he pointed the eternal spear at Elisande, and the Rainbow Bridge activated.

"Ah!" Elisande shrieked, quickly plunged into the sea, and disappeared.

Seeing this, those Naga fled into the sea one after another.

"Attack!"

Navoli loudly ordered, and the ballistas and Mage Tower quickly launched an attack. But it was still a step too late; the Naga only left behind a dozen corpses before disappearing.

Mejia waved the tidal scepter, still wanting to pursue them.

But Gale stopped him, "Let them live a little longer. Building the pier is most important."

If Gale had wanted to, he could certainly have kept all the Naga and Elisande. But he didn't do so; he was afraid that after eliminating Elisande, the Old Gods would cause trouble in secret again.

Elisande, this not-so-clever fellow, was actually quite easy to deal with. If the Old Gods replaced her with someone clever, it would take a lot more effort.
