Chapter 268 - Chapter 268 Raid on the Lost City

The Wind Elementals looked at the suddenly appearing Hall of Valor, somewhat dazed.

However, the liches were decisive in their killing, immediately activating the Mage Tower to attack the Wind Elementals. The Wind Elementals were caught off guard, and many were controlled by Frost Spells.

The Eternal Knight Order immediately ascended, and the Proto-Dragons arrived in an instant. The Eternal Knights swung their weapons, striking down the Wind Elementals who could not dodge.

The Hippogryph Knight Order also ascended, but they did not follow behind the Eternal Knight Order. Although Proto-Dragons were more akin to beasts, their might was still something Hippogryphs could not withstand.

Only by staying far from the Proto-Dragons could the Hippogryphs participate in the entire battle. Nasha led the Hippogryph Knight Order to attack in the opposite direction, tailing the Wind Elementals heading towards the Lost City.

The Wind Elementals in the Lost City immediately ascended to meet these suddenly appearing enemies.

Just then, a fleet appeared on the sea, arriving below the battlefield.

Flag signals were sent from the Shadowsong, and the ballistas on all the warships aimed at the sky, firing bolts with attached canisters. The bolts landed near the Wind Elementals, the canisters burst open, and countless plumes of smoke emerged from within.

The Wind Elementals immediately felt unwell and tried to escape the smoke's range. But the fleet continued to fire bolts, and the smoke's range grew larger and larger, making it impossible for the Wind Elementals to escape.

The Hippogryph Knight Order immediately launched an attack, with Arcane arrows piercing through the bodies of the Wind Elementals.

The Wind Elementals would not have been so vulnerable normally; they were weakened by the smoke. Those plumes of smoke were specially made wind-suppressing smoke, and all Wind Elementals who inhaled it would be weakened.

Garrosh felt it was about time and immediately ordered a change of arrows. The Sentry Shooters immediately switched to Sea Monster Killers and began to harvest the lives of the Wind Elementals.

The Hippogryph Knight Order were bait, specifically used to lure out the Wind Elementals from the Lost City.

Siamat, the Southern Wind Lord, was the main commander of the Lost City. Upon discovering that the fleet was the main force of the enemy, she immediately dispatched her army to attack the fleet.

Her intention was quickly seen through by Garrosh, who immediately led the fleet in a zigzag retreat, attacking the Wind Elementals as they withdrew.

The Wind Elementals thought they had found the key to victory and chased after them, but unexpectedly fell into the allied forces' trap again.

Freya appeared with ground troops to the east of the Lost City. She waved her hand and created a bridge of vines. Carlos led the army across the vine bridge into the Lost City, launching an attack towards the city center.

Having been outmaneuvered twice, Siamat was furious.

She personally led a large army to meet the enemy, and seeing only a group of mortals, she disdainfully said, "You crawling insects, do you wish to challenge the great Southern Wind Lord?"

Before she could finish, a loud bang suddenly came from the west.

The city wall of the Lost City suddenly collapsed, and a group of Tol'vir rushed in. The foremost Tol'vir was General Husam, who had been resisting the Wind Elemental invasion at the Sunstone Obelisk. The Neferset clan he led was the most fiercely resistant of the Tol'vir, and had killed the most Wind Elementals.

"Drive out these invaders!"

General Husam was the first to charge towards the Southern Wind Lord, and the Neferset Tol'vir also rushed towards the Wind Elementals.

The Wind Elementals were attacked from front and back. Siamat made a choice, turning with the Wind Elementals to meet the Tol'vir. In her opinion, the Tol'vir posed a greater threat, but she did not expect to fall into the allied forces' trap once again.

Carlos led his army to quickly run near the Wind Elementals and threw the canisters in their hands. The wind-suppressing smoke dispersed, greatly weakening the Wind Elementals.

Freya also entered the Lost City at this time, waving her hand to give the Tol'vir buffs.

With one side weakened and the other strengthened, the Tol'vir fought with increasing ferocity, quickly defeating the Wind Elementals.

Siamat watched as the Wind Elementals around her grew fewer and fewer, and she couldn't help but panic. She suddenly released a wind ring, repelling General Husam and the other Tol'vir, then turned and flew into the sky, attempting to escape.

Freya reached out, and a net of vines appeared in mid-air, ensnaring Siamat. Siamat tried to break through the vine net, but unexpectedly, the seemingly fragile vine net was imbued with super powerful magic.

"Come down! You!"

General Husam and the Tol'vir pulled down the vine net, successfully capturing Siamat.

Gale felt a great sense of relief seeing the battle in the Lost City end so easily. He had never fought such an advantageous battle before, and it seemed that allying with the Titan Guardians was the correct choice.

The wind-suppressing smoke was researched by Mimiron, specifically to deal with Wind Elementals. When the Eternal Knight Order returned, Mimiron urgently manufactured a batch and handed it over to them.

Gale first teleported the Hall of Valor to Sky's Edge Port and discussed the battle plan with Freya and Garrosh.

Garrosh planned this war, first to raid the Lost City, then to raid Skywall.

Carlos had already landed in Uldum and built a port. The fleet transported Freya and the ground army to Uldum. Freya and Carlos advanced to the Halls of Origination first, with Freya contacting the Tol'vir.

The Halls of Origination contacted the Sunstone Obelisk and arranged a time with General Husam to jointly attack the Lost City.

Then Gale again teleported the Hall of Valor near Skywall at the appointed time, as the signal to begin this war.

Gale stood up. According to the battle plan, after retaking the Lost City, he should also raid Skywall.

The eternal spear struck the ground, and the Rainbow Bridge appeared, taking him and making him disappear within the Hall of Valor.

At Skywall, the Eternal Knight Order was fiercely battling the Wind Elementals. As a fortress of Wind Elementals, there were many Wind Elementals within Skywall, and since Wind Elementals were skilled in aerial combat, they could easily repel the Proto-Dragons. Therefore, the Eternal Knight Order had no way to approach Skywall yet, and could not even easily break through the outer perimeter.

The Rainbow Bridge teleported Gale to the top of Skywall, and the Wind Elementals immediately surrounded Gale.

Gale had already retrieved Aggramar's Shield, and the Wind Elementals' attacks simply could not penetrate the shield's defensive barrier.

He simultaneously took out Mjolnir, and the Miao Miao Hammer condensed a large amount of lightning, striking the bodies of the Wind Elementals.

Wind and thunder are of the same kind; the Wind Elementals were powerless against this divine artifact.

Thunder roared continuously, and soon Gale had cleared out the outer Wind Elementals. The Eternal Knight Order landed on Skywall, and the Eternal Knights jumped from the Proto-Dragons, following Gale to attack the interior of the spires.

The Proto-Dragons ascended again, and under the leadership of Viranus, continued to clear out the outer Wind Elementals. The thick-skinned and tough Proto-Dragons could completely defeat the Wind Elementals, it just required some time.
