Chapter 270 - Chapter 270 Choosing a New King for the Wind Element

After Deathwing was banished to the Wind Elemental Plane, Al'Akir saw an opportunity to return to the real world.

As an ambitious king, Al'Akir would not let go of any opportunity, so he chose to cooperate with Deathwing.

Al'Akir knew that taking the Forge of Origination was Deathwing's conspiracy.

However, he did not refuse; he also wanted to obtain the energy within the Forge of Origination.

Before absorbing Thunderaan's essence, Ragnaros, though strong, was only slightly stronger than him and Neptulon.

After absorbing Thunderaan's essence, Ragnaros's strength skyrocketed, even allowing him to fight two opponents at once.

It was clear that absorbing powerful energy could qualitatively improve the strength of elemental beings.

If he could obtain the energy of the Forge of Origination, then he would surely be even stronger than Ragnaros.

Whenever he thought about being able to rub his old rival's face in the dirt, Al'Akir's heart swelled with excitement.

However, ideals are grand, but reality is harsh.

After returning to the real plane, Al'Akir was astonished to find that the real plane had undergone earth-shattering changes.

Uldum had turned into a desert at some unknown point, and there was also a group of Titan constructs guarding it.

He thought: It seems the Titan Guardian are very wary of the four elemental lords, which is why they arranged for the Tol'vir to live here.

This made him feel very proud, so he did not go to find the Forge of Origination first, but directly attacked the Lost City.

Based on his understanding of the Titan Guardian, only by defeating these Tol'vir could he find the Forge of Origination.

Although he thought highly of himself, his idea was correct.

The Forge of Origination was hidden by the Tol'vir; if he could not get key clues from the Tol'vir, he would never find the Forge of Origination.

After the Lost City was captured, the Wind Elementals' offensive met with resistance.

The three obelisks built by the Tol'vir actually had the ability to instantly kill Wind Elementals, and even he dared not rashly approach these three obelisks, which gave the Tol'vir a chance to cling to life.

Just as Al'Akir was preparing to use a human wave tactic to capture the three obelisks, his army was massacred.

Not only was the Lost City recaptured by the Tol'vir, but the aerial fortress Skywall was also at risk of being breached.

Receiving Asaad's message, he immediately moved Aurakyir's Sky Throne over, preparing to provide support.

But when he entered Skywall, there wasn't a single Wind Elemental standing.

How could Al'Akir not be enraged by such a situation?

"You... you dare to oppose the great Al'Akir... you are simply courting death!"

Gale muttered in his heart: You monsters are really interesting, why do you always steal Illidan Stormrage's lines?

Following behind Al'Akir was his Council of Winds.

Siamat, the Southern Wind Lord, had been captured in the Lost City.

The remaining three lords were: Anshal, the Western Wind Lord, who could use Gales to heal allies or poison enemies; Rohash, the Eastern Wind Lord, who could grind the grandest mountains to dust with storms; and Nadir, the Northern Wind Lord, who could unleash icy blizzards.

Anshal: "The wind will nourish your hearts!"

Rohash: "Turn to dust!"

Nadir: "Die in the cold wind!"

The three lords cast spells simultaneously, and a strong Gale blew towards Gale and the Eredar.

Gale, possessing Aggramar's Shield, was not greatly affected.

However, the Eredar could not withstand the damage from the Gale; Anshal's poisonous wind could erode their souls, Rohash's Gale could tear their souls apart, and Nadir's cold wind was about to freeze their bodies.

Ganging up on him?

Gale threw Mjolnir, and Mjolnir arced, striking the three lords.

Before Mjolnir flew back, Gale took out the eternal spear and activated the Rainbow Bridge.

Whoosh—

The Rainbow Bridge disappeared, and a tall figure appeared in the middle of the battlefield.

"Al'Akir, still well?"

"Freya?" Al'Akir looked at Freya in astonishment; how did she appear as soon as a rainbow rose?

However, that wasn't important; what was important was that Freya had appeared, and whether other Titan Guardian would also appear.

Freya waved her hand, and life energy enveloped the Eredar, dispelling the abnormal states on their bodies.

Gale stepped forward, "What do we do now?"

Freya: "I have already obtained a lot of information about the Wind Elementals from Siamat in the sky."

Al'Akir felt humiliated.

Seeing that Gale had not teleported other Titan Guardian over, his courage grew.

"Siamat, that traitor, once I deal with you, I will execute her.

Kill her, and those mortals."

The three lords tried their old trick again, wanting to gauge Freya's strength.

Freya gently waved her hand, and a warm breeze pushed the Gale back.

Within the warm breeze, countless life energies transformed into vines, binding the three lords.

She said indifferently: "Al'Akir is full of ambition; he would never lead the Wind Elementals to cooperate with us."

Al'Akir: "Cooperation? You are simply deluding yourselves."

He immediately waved his hand, and countless Wind Elementals were summoned.

He led the Wind Elementals to attack Freya.

Freya's combat ability was not very strong; although she could subdue the three lords, Al'Akir was confident he could defeat Freya.

As for the other mortals, Al'Akir did not pay them any mind, not even wanting to know their names.

Gale looked at the arrogant Al'Akir and laughed disdainfully: "Then it's time to find a new king for the Wind Elementals."

"Good idea!" Freya nodded, bestowing blessings upon the Eredar.

The Eredar's morale was greatly boosted, and they launched a counter-charge against the Wind Elementals.

At this moment, the Proto-Dragon also dealt with the surrounding Wind Elementals and rushed over to provide support.

Al'Akir violently slammed the ground, and countless electric currents shot up, sending the Eredar flying.

He continued to rush towards Freya, "Die!"

Freya took a step back with a chuckle, "I'm not your opponent!"

Gale placed Aggramar's Shield on his arm, reached out to catch Mjolnir, and immediately activated the Rainbow Bridge to strike Al'Akir's face.

The eternal spear and Mjolnir heavily smashed onto Al'Akir's head.

Boom—

Thunder rumbled, and Al'Akir was knocked back dozens of yards.

Although this distance was not far for Al'Akir, it deeply shocked him.

This mortal actually pushed him back so easily?

Staring at the weapons in Gale's hand, Al'Akir found the reason.

This mortal not only possessed the pillars of creation but also two artifacts no weaker than the pillars of creation.

This reminded him of the mortal Deathwing had mentioned—Gale!

After striking, Gale immediately used Flash, appearing again beside Al'Akir.

The Rainbow Bridge pierced through Al'Akir's body, and Mjolnir pulled at the Wind Elemental energy within Al'Akir, directly heavily wounding Al'Akir.

Feeling the elemental chaos within his body, Al'Akir was filled with terror.

He hadn't even unleashed his true strength yet, but he had already been defeated by Gale.

If the fight continued, Gale might really be able to kill him.

Thinking of this, Al'Akir suddenly blew a fierce Gale, repelling Gale, then turned and fled towards Aurakyir's Sky Throne.
