Chapter 305 - Chapter 305: Soul Reaper Hakkar Returns to the Human World

Hireek knew Nordrassil was a formidable opponent, but she didn't expect Nordrassil to see through her invisibility so easily.

One must know, she specialized in Shadow Divine Power, which was best for invisibility.

Shirvallah also didn't expect Hireek to be discovered so easily.

He immediately called to Heshisi, "Quick, let's go rescue Hireek."

Heshisi also quickly moved; they both knew how weak Hireek's combat ability was.

Her assassination methods were her only strong suit; in direct combat, she couldn't even defeat a slightly powerful chieftain.

However, just as they charged, Nordrassil directly guided lightning, striking Hireek from the sky.

Lightning had a suppressive effect on evil energy, perfectly countering Hireek's Shadow Divine Power.

Hireek felt her whole body paralyzed, unable to move a single inch.

Nordrassil rushed straight to her and split her in half with an axe.

The lightning purified the Shadow Divine Power within her, burning her entire body to charcoal.

"Hireek!!!???"

The Trolls were stunned; even if Hireek's combat ability was weak, she was still a Loa God!

How could she be killed so easily by this Elf?

Shirvallah frowned at once; Nordrassil's displayed strength was a bit beyond expectations.

He now regretted letting Hireek follow this Elf.

However, he quickly regained his confidence.

Although Nordrassil killed Hireek, he did not believe he was no match for Nordrassil.

Hireek was merely a low-tier loa, while he was a lesser loa, much stronger.

He gave Heshisi a look, then continued to charge towards Nordrassil.

After getting close to Nordrassil, he lunged forward, trying to tackle Nordrassil to the ground.

Nordrassil suddenly threw his Stormbreaker, and the Stormbreaker, carrying supreme lightning, struck Shirvallah's chest.

Shirvallah looked at the Stormbreaker in disbelief, then was sent flying back over thirty yards by the lightning, falling to the ground motionless.

Heshisi suddenly turned and fled the battlefield at top speed.

The Trolls were stunned again, but they quickly reacted and followed Heshisi in their escape.

Shirvallah was the strongest Loa God of the Gurubashi Trolls; even he was killed, so how could this battle continue?

The Gurubashi Troll Chieftain sighed deeply, reluctantly forced to follow the retreat.

Now the Troll Army was in disarray, and he couldn't even get the Trolls to gather together.

The Elves in the castle immediately opened the city gates and surged out, chasing the Trolls all the way to the Sunshine Forest.

Seizing this opportunity, Nordrassil pushed the front line to the border of the Sunshine Forest and Stranglethorn Vale, establishing a camp on the mountain path specifically to counter Troll attacks.

He appointed Count Sunwing to guard the camp, then went to search for the Troll Army led by Bethekk.

After retreating back to Stranglethorn Vale, the Gurubashi Troll Chieftain breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that the Elves had not pursued them.

While returning to ZulGurub, he reflected on his erroneous decisions.

Having lost Shirvallah and Hireek, the Gurubashi Trolls would be unable to launch a counterattack.

It seemed they could only hunker down in ZulGurub, relying on the tall city walls to defend against the Elves.

Although he felt uncertain, the Elves had not launched a major offensive in these years, giving him some hope.

If things went as he expected, the Gurubashi Trolls still had a chance to cultivate new loa.

Offense was certainly no match for the Elves, but self-preservation was still not an issue.

However, things did not develop as he had anticipated; just as the Troll Army entered ZulGurub, they were surrounded by the Drakkari and their Trolls, leaving no escape.

The Chieftain was furious, "What do you want? A rebellion?"

The Drakkari Warlock sneered, "A defeated person, still daring to be so arrogant?"

Before he finished speaking, an unknown number of Witch Doctors, hidden among the crowd, began to cast Voodoo.

Voodoo could both protect Trolls from harm and cause them to die quickly, depending entirely on the caster's will.

And now, Voodoo became the Trolls' nightmare.

The Troll Chieftain and his army were enveloped in Voodoo.

After inhaling the Voodoo, they immediately collapsed and died.

The Troll Chieftain, having been wary, covered his mouth and nose, but still couldn't prevent the Voodoo's penetration.

He staggered towards the crowd, but before he could reach them, he collapsed to the ground.

The Warlock loudly declared, "See? This is the fate of those who do not believe in Haka the Soulflayer."

Those Trolls who sympathized with the Chieftain immediately showed fearful expressions, not daring to look at the corpses on the ground, and followed the Drakkari in loudly shouting Hakkar's name.

"Throw all their bodies onto the altar!"

The Warlock gave the command, and the Witch Doctors immediately urged the Trolls to carry the bodies.

In the center of ZulGurub, the Drakkari had long prepared a pyramid-like altar.

In fact, after the Chieftain and Shirvallah led their troops out, the Drakkari had taken control of the entire ZulGurub and then compelled the Trolls to build this altar.

The Warlock stood at the top of the altar, watching the Trolls carry all the bodies over.

"Great Soulflayer, your faithful servants offer you sacrifices.

Please answer our call and bring us your message..."

The prayer echoed throughout the altar, and the Witch Doctors stood around the entire altar, casting spells to help the Warlock send the prayer into some unknown space.

After a long wait, a portal appeared on the altar, and a giant eye emerged within the portal.

The Warlock was overjoyed and immediately prayed: "Great Soulflayer, you have finally answered our call; please tell your faithful servants how to bring you back into this world..."

The eye observed within the portal for a while, as if confirming whether it was safe on this side of the portal.

After no abnormalities were found, Hakkar's voice echoed from within the portal.

"Bring me more flesh and souls."

As the voice sounded, the Troll bodies on the altar were lifted by a suction force; their flesh and souls automatically decomposed and surged towards the portal.

Having tasted the long-lost flesh and souls, Hakkar let out a comfortable groan.

Then he infused energy into the portal, expanding it a bit, revealing half of his face.

Upon hearing this, the Warlock immediately cast his gaze upon the Trolls below the altar.

The Witch Doctors immediately understood, urging the Trolls who had just carried the bodies onto the altar.

As long as Haka the Soulflayer could return to the world, no matter how many Trolls died, it would be worth it.

The Trolls didn't want to die; they charged at the Witch Doctors, trying to escape.

But the Witch Doctors stretched out their hands and scattered Voodoo, poisoning the Trolls and knocking them to the ground.

Having obtained enough flesh and souls, Hakkar finally expanded the portal to the point where his body could pass through.

"Hahaha--I... the Soulflayer... am back!!!"
