Henry instructed Leon and the coachman to wait where they were.
The three men's eyes lit up when they saw Alice and Rachel. One of them said with a grin, "Miss Murphy, you're finally here. Our boss has been waiting for you for a long time. Come on in."
Rachel looked at the man's malicious smile and couldn't help but glance at Henry.
Henry nodded slightly and said, "Let's go. You lead the way."
The hooligan who spoke led the way, while the other two walked at the back, preventing them from running away.
The apartment Robert originally rented was the house on the left-hand side after entering the main gate of the apartment building. The leading hooligan pushed the door open and gestured for Henry and the others to enter.
Henry took the lead and strode in, with Alice and Rachel following closely. The three hooligans also entered the room after them, closing and locking the door.
The long sofa in the apartment's living room was occupied by two white men in their twenties, with seven other white men standing on either side of them.
"Mazhar? How are you here?" Rachel looked at one of the white men on the sofa with confusion.
"Sit down, Rachel. This is Carter, the leader of our Whist Gang." Mazhar's eyes lit up.
There were three fabric sofas directly opposite the long sofa and coffee table.
Henry led the two girls to sit down on the sofas.
At this moment, the hooligan who had closed the door last stood still less than two meters behind the three.
"Speak, how do you plan to repay that 12,000 us dollar?" Carter greedily scanned Alice and Rachel.
"How can there be so much? My father only owed you 6,000 us dollar, and he's already given you two ships and a high-end apartment as collateral," Rachel argued.
"The loan contract he signed stipulates the interest and repayment method. If he can't fulfill it, the principal plus interest amounts to this much. If you have any questions, you can come to us to see the original contract. It's only right to repay debts. Don't try to escape; no one can owe our Whist Gang money!" Carter said matter-of-factly.
"I haven't seen this IOU or contract, nor have I heard my father mention it, so I don't know about these things. And even if he owed you money, it has nothing to do with me," Rachel said eloquently.
"Yes, if you want to find someone, find Mr. Robert. This has nothing to do with Rachel," Alice likewise stated.
"It seems you want to default on the debt. No one can default on the Whist Gang's debt!" Carter said emphatically.
"Why-os!" The other ten Whist Gang members collectively let out their characteristic howl—this was also the origin of the Whist Gang's name.
When the howling stopped, Carter slightly tilted his head, and the ten gang members, excluding him and Mazhar, simultaneously drew their revolvers and pointed them at Henry and the two girls.
Carter, looking like a confident big shot, leaned back on the sofa and slowly issued his orders.
"Miss Sinclair, it's only right to repay debts. Don't interfere in this matter anymore, or I can't guarantee your safety."
"Maddie and Jack, put a hood on Rachel, tie her up, and take her away. Sir, you stay still. If you don't want an extra hole in your body."
The two thugs behind Henry and the two girls put away their pistols and went to the nearby table to get hoods and ropes.
Rachel was both anxious and alarmed, her face ashen.
Henry clapped his hands, looked around at the thugs, and loudly declared his decision.
"You are setting a trap to harm people of status. The debt is invalid. I give you a choice—release or not pursue Mr. Robert."
"Furthermore, return the two ships and one apartment building he lost due to your entrapment."
"Also, return all the money Mr. Robert lost because of your scheme."
"Finally, the Whist Gang will pay an additional 10,000 us dollar as compensation for Miss Rachel being harassed by you during this period."
All the thugs, including Rachel, thought they were hallucinating.
Carter laughed as if he had seen a fat pig unaware of its impending doom, and asked, "Who are you? How dare you speak like that?"
Henry said indifferently, "I am Henry."
Carter sneered and asked, "Henry, are you here to be funny? Kill him!"
Henry simultaneously activated his 10x Super Reaction Talent, standing up while continuously waving his hands.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh."
Cold light crisscrossed the hall.
A second later, a 15-centimeter skill Flying Dagger was embedded in the wrists of both hands of all 12 thugs.
The farthest thug was no more than 5 meters from Henry. With a 10x reaction speed difference, the feeling of boundless wisdom and illuminating the world reappeared. The slow-moving thugs were hit by the daggers before their pistol muzzles could be adjusted or their triggers pulled.
"Clang." Ten pistols fell onto the stone floor.
Henry jumped onto the coffee table and kicked Carter and Mazhar in the head twice, knocking them unconscious.
Then, Henry rushed to each thug who was still in panic and severe pain, delivering a hook punch to their jaw, instantly knocking them out. They fell to the ground like dumplings being dropped into a pot.
In just a few seconds, all 12 thugs were unconscious. This scene made Alice and Rachel feel as if they were dreaming.
Henry picked up two revolvers and handed them to Alice and Rachel respectively.
"Let's go. I'll take you out to wait for me in the carriage. I need to interrogate them to find out Mr. Robert's whereabouts. If anyone attacks you, just shoot. I'll come out when I hear the gunshots."
After giving his instructions, Henry turned around and opened the apartment door. The two girls, still dazed, followed him out.
Once the two girls were in the carriage and had locked the door, Henry turned back to deal with the thugs.
He first closed and locked the door, took out 12 handcuffs, and cuffed all the thugs' hands behind their backs. Then, he put on gloves, took out a wad of towel, stuffed it into Carter's mouth, and then took out a Swift Sword, stabbing it into Carter's thigh.
Carter immediately sobered up from the pain and tried to let out a howl, but found his mouth was gagged.
"Tell me, where is Mr. Robert now? How were you able to frame him? What were you planning to do with him and Rachel?" Henry asked coldly.
Then, Henry stabbed Carter in the left leg again and said, "You're quite tough, not making a sound. It's okay, there are 11 other living people over there."
Then Henry stabbed Carter's left leg again.
Carter was both in pain and aggrieved. Where was his big shot demeanor from earlier?
He could only nod and shake his head frantically.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot you have a towel in your mouth. If you want to confess, just nod."
Carter immediately nodded frantically.
Henry squatted down and pulled the towel out of his mouth.
Carter first gasped for air frantically. Seeing Henry about to stab him again, he quickly cried out, "I'll talk, I'll talk! Stop, quickly stop!"
Henry stopped his movements.
