Chapter 106 - Leno’s Arrival

T/n: For Every 100 Power Stone 1+ Chapter ( I hope I don't regret it and get burned out!! XD)

-----

At dawn, tens of thousands of Marine soldiers stood in perfect formation across the plaza of Marineford.

The scene was silent, a heavy, oppressive atmosphere spreading that made it difficult to breathe.

Clang! Clang!

The sound of chains echoed as Belle-Mère and her family were escorted onto the execution platform.

The soldiers' gazes followed the three prisoners — some filled with malice, others with excitement, and some with guilt.

Thud… Thud… Thud…

Then came the echo of heavy footsteps. Three towering figures approached from below the platform, their presence alone radiating a suffocating pressure.

"The Three Admirals!?"

"What terrifying power…"

"All three at once? Is that 'Thunder God' really that dangerous?"

A ripple of unease swept through the ranks as the Marines realized that the Navy's three greatest powers had all appeared together.

"Fufufufufu…"

Among the line of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Doflamingo let out an excited laugh.

"To think the Navy would muster all this strength for one man… How delightful. Truly delightful."

"Fufufufufu…"

Nearby, Moria cackled as well, confidence swelling at the sight of the massive assembly.

"All this for one kid 'Thunder God'? The Navy really does love to overreact. Still, I can't wait to claim that shadow of his. Hehehehehe…"

Crocodile, draped in his coat, exhaled a puff of smoke and spoke coldly.

"My goal is only Nico Robin. Stay out of my way — or else."

"Oi, smelly crocodile~" Doflamingo taunted. "I hear you've been playing hero lately. How about joining forces with me, hm?"

"With you? You're not worth my time. I work alone."

"Fufufufu… Arrogant bastard," Doflamingo sneered, though he seemed far from offended.

Standing apart from them, Boa Hancock cast a cold glance at the group, her voice dripping with disdain.

"Men like these reek of filth. None of them are anything like him…"

The other Warlords stood in silence, unreadable, their intentions hidden behind calm masks.

Then came another round of footsteps on the platform.

Step… Step… Step…

Vice Admiral Garp and Fleet Admiral Sengoku emerged into view.

Garp sighed as he looked at the shackled family, then wordlessly sat beside them.

Sengoku raised a loudspeaker in hand, beginning his speech.

"You must all be wondering — is it really necessary for the Navy to deploy such overwhelming force against a single man?"

He paused briefly before continuing, voice firm and commanding.

"I assure you, it is absolutely necessary! That man has slain the 'Golden Lion' and defeated the so-called 'Strongest Creature,' Kaido. We cannot afford to underestimate a monster of that caliber."

His gaze shifted toward the prisoners.

"He was also one of the main perpetrators behind the attack on the Holy Land, Mary Geoise. Because his whereabouts are unpredictable, the World Government had no choice but to capture his family to draw him out."

"Today, we gather here to execute the criminal who threatens the order of this world — once and for all!"

A deafening roar erupted from the soldiers below.

"Justice will prevail!"

"Justice will prevail!"

"Justice will prevail!"

Belle-Mère snorted softly and turned to Aileen beside her. "How about you, Aileen? Are you scared?"

Aileen shook her head, though her small body trembled. "No. Big brother will come save us."

Genzo's eyes reddened with emotion as he watched the trembling girl. He dared not speak, fearing to break her fragile courage.

Belle-Mère sighed. "Honestly, I'd rather Leno not come. That fool will only throw himself into danger."

Garp chuckled lightly. "Don't be afraid, little one. Even if that brat doesn't come, the Navy won't harm you."

"Hmph! I'm not afraid of you! You caught us just to threaten my brother because you can't beat him! The Navy is disgusting!"

Her words hit Garp like a cannonball. The old hero froze, guilt flooding his chest. He couldn't bring himself to reply.

Sengoku's expression tightened. He snatched up his receiver. "Report! Any sign of the 'Thunder God'!?"

"R-report! The sea is calm, sir! No sign of the target!"

"Damn it! Did we miscalculate? Could it be… he's not coming?"

"My brother will come! He'll come and defeat all of you!"

Aileen's voice cut through the tension, filled with conviction.

"You'll see! When he gets here, he'll crush you all!"

"Roooaaar!"

Her words were answered by an earth-shaking roar from the sky above.

Sengoku and Garp snapped their heads upward, eyes wide.

The Marines below did the same, confusion spreading like wildfire.

"Ara ara… finally here, huh?"

Aokiji muttered, his tone grave. He knew that sound well — he'd faced it once before.

"Hm?"

At his words, Kizaru and Akainu both looked up in alarm.

Then, from the clouds, a colossal dragon descended — stretching over a kilometer long.

Its enormous, savage head loomed over the plaza, purple scales gleaming ominously under the sun. Razor claws glinted like polished steel, exuding a killing chill.

"A… a dragon?"

"What the hell!?"

"That's the monster we're fighting!?"

The overwhelming pressure drove the soldiers to their knees. Many trembled, instinct screaming at them to flee.

"Do not panic!" Sengoku's voice thundered over the chaos. "That's the 'Thunder God's' Devil Fruit power!"

"Fufufufufu!"

Doflamingo burst into manic laughter. "So this is the beast that defeated Kaido! What power! What beauty! I can feel it!"

"Kyahahaha! With a shadow like that, Kaido's got nothing on me!" Moria shrieked in glee, already imagining the strength he could steal.

Mihawk glanced sidelong at the frenzied Warlord, an eyebrow twitching. Where do you get the confidence to think you could even take his shadow?

At the back of the line, Hancock's eyes had already turned into hearts. She pressed her hands to her cheeks, blushing fiercely as she gazed upward.

"Ah~ Lord Leno… I've finally seen you again…"

While the Warlords reacted in their own ways, the Marines snapped back to action at Sengoku's command.

"Prepare the artillery! Target the giant dragon ahead! Ready to fire!"
