Time passed quickly. Before they realized it, tomorrow would be the shop's opening day, which coincided with Sunday, so all the children could go to the city together.
"Dad, hurry up or it'll be noon already!" Lano whined when he saw Laus still sitting leisurely, enjoying a glass of black coffee and a plate of freshly fried bananas that were still hot. "I really want to meet baby Liona, Dad. I can't wait anymore!"
Laus lifted his head and looked at his youngest son with an amused smile. "Be patient, son. Dad also wants to see them," he said while sipping his steaming coffee. "But Dad needs to fill his stomach first. The trip to the city is quite far."
"But Dad, it'll get late. It'll be hot on the road," Lano added with a sulky face.
"Come here, sit with Dad and have some tea so your stomach stays warm," Laus said patiently while patting the seat beside him. "Dad also wants to chat with you for a bit before we leave."
