Unlike the first few days, the instructors were now completely overwhelmed.
Beast corpses kept materializing across different compartments, and no one dared complain about coming early anymore. Even a moment of delay meant mountains of corpses piling onto their assigned quotas, forcing them to work in miserable silence just to keep up.
The professors, however, acted merely as overseers. The two spatial magicians took turns sitting within the intricate floating magic sphere hovering overhead. A faint hum echoed through the air each time the metal plates flashed and transported another carcass upward.
"Look, the super rookie's score still hasn't budged since that huge spike on the first day," one instructor muttered as he slumped down onto a crate, rubbing his sore shoulders.
Both men glanced toward the massive scoreboard.
