"Huh?" Gabe raised an eyebrow, his face still contorted in shock as his breath came out uneven. His back pressed harder into the cold surface beneath him, every nerve screaming awareness
Has he gone crazy now or what? Gabe thought inwardly as he let out a scoff.
"Just forget about the money you stole from me," Romeo said calmly, his voice low but firm. There was no anger in it, only certainty. He remained kneeling in front of Gabe, his grip still firm around Gabe's neck, fingers resting just enough to remind him how easily they could tighten. "You could have asked me, and I would have given it to you willingly. You didn't need to go behind my back and steal."
A trap.
That was the first thought that crossed Gabe's mind. A slow smirk tugged at his lips despite the position he was in. This has to be a trap.
