The next morning, I was glued to my phone, scrolling through TikTok, Instagram, and even Facebook, which Camilla barely used. I checked every platform, searching for any mention of me and Dominic's marriage.
But there was nothing. No posts. No gossip. Not even a cryptic quote or passive-aggressive caption from Camilla.
I couldn't tell if that was a good sign. Should I be relieved she hadn't cooked up another lie to make herself look like the miserable, betrayed golden girl of the Wilson family? Or was she still reeling from the news, trying to figure out her next move?
Owen had called the marriage fake. I wouldn't be shocked if Camilla believed it, too.
The sound of the door opening drew my attention, and I set my phone aside, looking up to see Dominic.
