HARPER
I returned to the room after spending some time in the living room. I couldn't tell where Dominic and his children were. Perhaps he was disciplining his son as he said. I didn't want even to imagine what he could be doing to him.
But then, Dominic wasn't a violent man. At least, he didn't look like one, so I guess I shouldn't be worried.
Just as I sat on the bed, my phone buzzed on the nightstand. I snatched it from it and stared at the number, a frown etched on my face.
Camilla.
She was the last person I was expecting to call me. What does she want?
Another stunt? I thought she was already tired of me.
I swiped to answer it and glued it to my ear. "What?" I said in the most uninterested voice ever.
"Is that what you have to say to your sister?" Camilla questioned. On the other end, I heard giggles, an oddly familiar voice, but I couldn't exactly pick where I had heard it from.
"What do you want, Camilla?" I asked her, wanting to get it over with.
