Arthur sat on the dead land, waiting.
He noticed a slight pattern of the walking statue, it reached the hollow montains every three or four months. And so he waited, like a good passenger should.
Arthur has achieved a lot in these last five and a half months. He had become a monster, atleast in the amount of soul cores he had.
He has completed his destruction armor.
And he had walked through the mineshaft, then swam across the water, and he had found two corpses on a small shore.
It was of a man, and of a giant nightmare creature.
He had even gotten a memory, a powerful one at that. And he had finally figured out what his first ever memory did.
Soon Arthur took a small nap, having set up a small campsite, just incase he was wrong when the statue arrived.
Soon he awoke, the ground trembling all around.
He raised his eyes to the sky, only for them to widen, as a giant foot was descending right above him. Quickly dashing out of his makeshift tent, and further back, he saw as the ground he had just slept on, was completed crushed.
Quickly fighting off the drowsiness, he augmented himself with both of his flames, and dashed to catch up to the statue.
Who was continuing walking towards the montains.
Arthur watched it try to climb up the montains once again, and like it had the previous times, it failed.
It smashed its hammer once against the montain, turned around, and started walking back.
Quickly managing to reach one of its legs, Arthur climbed on, right as it lifted it, raising him higher.
He quickly jumped higher, until finally he reached the shoulder.
Arthur decided to stay on the shoulder, and rest till he arrive wherever the statue went.
His plan was simple, ride on the statue till he reached something, or if he saw nothing, he would return back.
It was a stupid plan, there was a possibility there was a chance, to find civilization and Arthur would do anything for that.
