Are you alright now?'' I asked as I finished changing the bandage wrapped around his chest. He was supposed to be healed from the surgery, but due to some bit of wolfsbane injected into his body to knock out his lycan during the surgery, it was slowing down his healing.
But physician Mallory assured me he would be fine once the wolfsbane was out of his system.
''You don't have to worry about me because soon I will be fine,'' he assured me.
Suddenly, his eyes met with my forehead. What the hell, you are bleeding!'' he exclaimed, lifting the first-aid box from the ground.
I tried to touch where he had said I was bleeding, but he grabbed my hand and brought it down. Then he rose, leaning over me and placing his palm on my forehead.
The instant our skin made contact, I felt the heat stir inside of him. For a moment, our eyes met, and we stared at each other. Then he looked down at my lips while I visibly gulped.
