As I walked into the hall, I saw Devid sitting on the sofa with my kids. Why was he with them? I quickly hurried over.
"Nico, Nilo, what are you doing? Come here."
As soon as I said that, both of my babies jumped down from the sofa and ran toward me.
My eyes instantly went to Vien. What was he doing? Didn't I signal him to take care of the kids?
"Zane, are they your kids? My nephews?" Devid asked, his voice filled with surprise and what sounded like genuine happiness.
"Yes. I adopted them, so they're my kids. But why are you asking? Please, just let me be. I don't know you, and your family also wants you to stay away from me."
I glanced at Vien after saying that, then turned away with the kids. Vien followed me out of the hall.
Once outside, he asked, "Where did Viktor take you? He didn't do anything to you, did he?"
I glanced at him while walking. "It's nothing."
