Everly was momentarily dumbfounded, her mouth hanging open like a broken hinge. Then, she suddenly recalled what Jeremy had said earlier this morning.
"Huh? Didn't you say you bonked your head on a rock when you took that tumble trying to catch me? Wait... you're not suggesting..."
Jeremy couldn't resist the urge to flick his fingers lightly on Everly's forehead, earning him a glare that could melt steel.
"Do you really think I could spill the beans about why I passed out in front of everyone?"
"When I landed on Aria's body, my hand accidentally brushed against hers. All of a sudden, a bunch of 'Error' screens started popping up around Aria's body, and those noises... it was like a thousand angry bees buzzing in my head. It almost made my head explode. Didn't you feel that too when you touched Aria's face at that time?"
Everly widened her eyes, her mind racing as she processed Jeremy's words.
"So... the error screens also showed up when you touched Aria...?"
