Tightening the grip on my daggers, I tried recalling the effects of those skills, and while I did have a general idea of what they might do, my memory was still a bit hazy.

I might need to exchange a few blows against her to recall the complete effects of those skills. I decided to give it my all if I wanted to win against her. While it did seem impossible, I was also a bit excited to see if I could do it within the time limit.

Removing her black hood, she unfolded her white-blonde hair that reached a bit below her shoulder length. At the edges of her hair, a charred smoky black texture was forming, as if a disease was necrotising it slowly.

Her deep crimson pupil looked around the area, gazing at Raven, Blaze and Kite before finally reaching me, where they lingered as they began analysing me.

A half-mocking smile formed on her pale white face, as she kept gazing at me. Licking the corner of her lips slightly, she mumbled in a low but audible voice,

"Istek naou houea lmlea pij(Are you the one who is killing my babies?)"

There was curiosity and excitement in her voice, as she slowly lifted her scythe, rotating it such that the blade end reached the ground. Then letting it freely fall, as she slid it down her hands, she gripped the scythe again, this time almost at the edge.

Then slowly lifting it up in the air, she spoke to me. Her gaze was getting more enchanted than before,

"Mina li uaa lijea moea( Are you the one who will liberate me from this pain?)"

-Whoosh!

In a single jump, she reached closer to me, her grip tightened before she moved in for a wide horizontal slash.

-Slash!

Is this her skill? Teleportation? As I ducked at the right moment, I tried to analyse her strengths and derive the possible weaknesses from them.

Dodging that attack, I moved in for a light upper kick.

-Bam!

Though it hit right in the head, there was barely any damage to her. In fact, it made her smile in amusement as she kept looking at me.

-Slash!

Another slash, slower than last time. I dodged it with a backflip before doing a few more as I created a distance between the two of us.

"Liva Fireali! (How interesting!)" She spoke with a chuckle as she then prepared for her next attack.

Location: The Rothrak Mansion

Yemir Rothrak, the guy whom Mikael met when he first entered the mansion. The eldest grandson of Armeas Rothrak.

He sat along with his younger brother, Niel Rothrak, their eyes never leaving the screen even for a brief moment.

[Riveria11: How is he doing that?]

[Bossmoves123: Are we even playing the same game?! It's Boss VS Boss at this point!]

[Dixit011: I wonder what he does in real life.]

Ezekiel was dodging every move that the Witch was throwing at him. And given the chance, he was also landing a few blows at her whenever there was a chance.

If she showed a skill that increased her speed, Ezekiel countered that by increasing the overall distance between them. If she showed an increased strength, he dodged with insane reflexes.

While each attack was chipping barely 10-12 HP of the witch, one has to keep in mind that each of those hits was a Critical Hit without miss.

"Doesn't a Critical Hit increase the overall damage by 3 or 4 times? Plus there is the level suppression too," a tall blonde woman, her body barely covered by short white clothes, spoke as she analysed the attack dealt and the damage caused.

She was Silvia Rothrak, the youngest child of Armeas Rothrak and Richard's aunt.

It also means that he is showering at least 100 damage or above at that boss? Is that even possible this early in the game? Don't most mobs barely have 50-60 HP? An intrigued smile was forming on her face as her gaze deepened on the screen.

"Doesn't matter much. He won't be able to kill the Witch at that pace," Niel calculated how the fight would go. Though it was interesting, the opponent was too strong for Ezekiel to finish within the given time limit and conditions.

Though…

"He is analysing his opponent, reading the patterns, movements and skills. His eyes are seeing much more than the battle, they are calculating the very essence of the opponent," an aged voice came, making everyone turn to the guy who just entered the room.

He was Armeas Rothrak, the highest authority of the Rothrak Family.

"Even if he does that, does he have enough time? Even for me, it would take more than an hour of continuous analysis of my opponent before I could read their patterns. And that too when I have already seen videos of my opponents from before," Niel added to his argument.

It was a logical decision.

Against a new opponent whom one has never fought.

And the concept of Skills and stats in the game.

It should be near impossible.

Yet.

"He has finished analysing," Yemir spoke as his serious gaze observed Ezekiel who was finally showing a smile on his previously serious face.

A silence covered not only the room but also the comment section, as they all observed the guy who somehow started gaining an upper hand against an opponent that most would deem impossible.

It's only been 10 minutes, though? Niel thought with a look of disbelief on his face, as he observed Ezekiel again, this time with a far more serious expression than before.
