"That being said…" Serena continued. "I do have a few things I'd like to run by the Council right now."
The plump beastwoman raised an eyebrow before she nodded her head, "Go ahead."
"Well the first thing would be about setting traps up around the forest for the cold season." Serena stated. "Rootless beastmen have already been spotted in the forest and I think some traps will help add some defense to the village. We can get them before they come close to the village and cause harm.
"Not to mention it'll lower the chance of any of the guards being injured. The only drawback will be that everyone within the village will need to be made aware of where the traps are. I suggest we set a few around the forest and a bunch along the wall perimeter. That way if they do make it to the wall, there will be some kind of defense."
"Hmm… That doesn't sound like a bad idea." A stocky beastman mused. "But how do you plan on making these traps?"
