"Wolverine? Logan?"
Hearing this rather unfamiliar name, Peter's first reaction was to recall the advice Amazing Spider-Man B had given him.

Then he suddenly looked at the Amazing Spider-Man, frowning.
Just now, in that instant, he felt a subtle shift in the Amazing Spider-Man's demeanor.
It was a slight change, but his instincts, honed by a certain primal sense, picked up on it.
"My father, what exactly was his identity? Why did he have to leave?" the Amazing Spider-Man pressed.
Logan walked over, sat down on a broken pillar, and patted the space beside him. "If you don't mind, sit down and we'll talk."
The Amazing Spider-Man quickly followed and sat down.

As Logan spoke, Peter and the Amazing Spider-Man began to understand some of the past.
The Amazing Spider-Man's father, Richard Parker, was not only a genetic engineer but also a former agent of the CIA. He met Mary Fitzpatrick, a CIA translator and data analyst, during his work.
The two fell in love and soon married, becoming a great team. They took on missions together, resolving threats to national security.
By chance, they saved Wolverine, Logan, who was being pursued by a schemer named Gustav Fiers.
Afterward, Gustav Fiers discovered the Parkers. He bribed people within the Osborn Group to sow discord between the Parkers and Norman Osborn, then began to hunt them.
Finally, the Parkers were assassinated by Gustav's men, who were disguised as the flight crew, while boarding a plane.
Mary Parker died instantly!
Richard Parker fought back, killing his attackers, but was critically wounded.
Although the plane didn't explode immediately, when Logan and his companions arrived, Richard Parker was already on his deathbed.
Using his companion's abilities, Logan and the others recorded Richard Parker's last words, intending to tell their son, Peter Parker, about these events one day.
"Gustav Fiers! Who is he?" Amazing Spider-Man growled, clearly enraged. This was the man responsible for his parents' deaths!
No, it was more than just his parents.
According to Logan, the entire feud between the Parker and Osborn families originated with this Gustav Fiers!
"He has a codename, 'The Gentleman.' He's a ruthless schemer who enjoys stirring up chaos in various countries for profit," Logan said, pointing to Doctor Octopus lying on the ground nearby. "This is also his work."
Amazing Spider-Man was stunned: "Are you saying that everything that happened today was also planned by Gustav Fiers?"
"Yeah," Logan nodded slightly.
"Is he here?"
"No."
Amazing Spider-Man was silent.
"But if we're lucky, maybe we can catch him this time," Logan said after a pause.
Amazing Spider-Man looked up.
Logan continued, "Why do you think he's stirring up these guys to play games with you here?"
"Play games?" Amazing Spider-Man was a little angry.
If he hadn't called on Peter from another world to help this time, he might have been in mortal danger, let alone saving Captain Stacy and the others.
And Logan actually called this "playing games"?
Logan, however, didn't take it seriously. "Yeah, he did. He had that little Osborn kid bring those softies in high-tech armor, along with the one who shoots electricity, to openly challenge you in New York, attracting a lot of attention."
"You know, before this, the army was actually heading this way."
Amazing Spider-Man looked around. Aside from some electrical sparks occasionally spitting out from the damaged facilities, everything was quiet. There was no sign of any army.
"But they're gone."
"Why?"
"Because they found that another place was actually the real target of this attack!"

"Washington!"
"Washington?!?"
"Yes!"
Logan, acting as the explainer, laid out all the clues they'd gathered.
Gustav had contacted three organizations in total, setting up operations in two locations.
In New York, he'd enlisted Harry Osborn, who had become the Green Goblin, along with Electro, Max Dillon, who also harbored a deep hatred for Spider-Man, and several murderers he'd broken out of prison.
Equipping them with high-tech gear, he'd created a supervillain group capable of attracting massive attention.
Electro had briefly held the entire city of New York's power grid hostage previously, and now, they'd brazenly kidnapped Captain Stacy of the New York City Police Department.
For these reasons, the public was paying close attention to this location.
But it was all a distraction.
While the military and special forces were focused on New York, the real attack was unfolding in Washington.
Over there, Gustav had joined forces with Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants and the current Red Skull of Hydra, Albert Malik. They were mass-producing a half-finished version of the Lizard Serum, preparing to release it in the White House!
Amazing Spider-Man was shocked.
If that was the case, then what he was doing here was just child's play.
"The situation over there is so critical, why are you here?!" Amazing Spider-Man stood up, his voice urgent.
Logan waved his hand dismissively: "Don't worry, almost the entire X-Men team is there."
