AURORA MOON
She didn't think the Duchess of Doom was supposed to feel faint.
She was a villainess. Cold. Unfeeling. Murderous.
Definitely not the type of person who felt really, really woozy.
Nausea roiled in her stomach. It was as if a thousand bees buzzed in her head.
The edges of her vision darkened.
Aaaaaaand ... lights out.
She woke up in a soft bed with a thick, fluffy duvet up to her chin. She wore a white cotton nightie. No, it was a shift or chemise. Or sometimes, it was called a smock. Romance fantasy novels usually took place in medieval-esque settings. So characters wore clothes based on those worn in medieval times. The shift she wore was used to sleep in and often the first in a thousand layers of uncomfortable clothing for women.
