Chapter 139 - This is not a good sign

Yellow energy and blue energy flowed within Eller's body. These two energies merged within him and began to repair his damaged body.

At the same time, two infinite energies, one yellow and one blue, both originating from the same source, began to construct a mysterious power for Eller around the concept of 'Kamen Rider Geats', all happening without Eller's knowledge.

By a strange twist of fate, the combined powers of the mind stone and the Tesseract saved Eller. As his vitality returned, Eller also saw the woman draped in black gauze shaking her head at him, as if rejecting him.

"Do you have the resolve to protect the World?"

A faint voice echoed in Eller's ear, but Eller was too exhausted at the moment. He fainted before he could answer the voice.

After a trip to the gates of hell, Eller also fell unconscious.

Meanwhile, Supergiant swiftly defeated Captain America and his two companions. Black Widow and Hawkeye's injuries were so severe they required ICU admission. Supergiant then re-stole the Tesseract.

"Do mere monkeys deserve to possess this power?"

After leaving this remark, Supergiant departed the isolated island. No one knew where she was going or what she intended to do.

This battle was the first major defeat the Avengers had experienced since their formation. Hawkeye and Black Widow were severely injured. Faced with this situation, Captain America could only call for backup.

"Nick, send a medical team to us immediately. Hawkeye and Black Widow are severely injured, and Iron Man, Thor, and Kamen Rider won't be in much better shape."

Within ten minutes, the medical squad closest to the island arrived and took Black Widow and Hawkeye away. At that moment, Tony, who had been knocked out, slowly regained consciousness.

"What happened to us?" Tony removed his deformed helmet, rubbing his head as he walked over to Captain America.

"We failed," Captain America said in a low voice.

"What?" Tony exclaimed, "Didn't Thor and Kamen Rider stop that blue elf?"

"No," Captain America lowered his eyes, his mood dejected, "Thor was knocked unconscious. As for Kamen Rider? His armor is gone. I think his situation will only be worse."

Upon hearing this, Tony glanced in Eller's direction. He had personally seen Eller, who was only left with a layer of black battle suit, and there was a shocking large hole in that suit, looking as if Eller had been pierced by some sharp object.

"This is the strongest enemy we've ever encountered," Tony's face showed a rare expression of 'seriousness'.

"Yes," Captain America sighed with emotion, then looked up at the sky. It was the second Quinjet, Banner was flying it with Jarvis's help to pick them up.

At least the Avengers' full strength wasn't revealed to the enemy, right?

"What happened here?" Banner said, looking at the chaotic scene after getting off the plane.

"Don't worry about that for now. Getting them back is the most important thing," Captain America patted Banner's shoulder.

Then, the three still conscious individuals carried Eller and Thor onto the Quinjet and flew back to the Avengers Base.

Some time later, Eller opened his eyes. His transformation had not been undone. He reached out and touched his chest, finding a gash on his login suit.

The login suit could slowly self-repair, but it would take some time to fix a penetrating injury.

Eller found himself lying in a hospital bed. He tried to sit up. Just then, Tony walked over.

"Looks like you're recovering well."

"What happened?" Eller asked.

"That blue elf defeated us, took the Tesseract, and put Natasha and Clint in the ICU," Tony briefly described what happened after Eller lost consciousness.

Supergiant took the Tesseract... Eller thought with a heavy heart.

But anxiety was useless now; it was better to think about how to deal with Supergiant. So, Eller asked Tony:

"By the way, where's Thor?"

"Thor locked himself in his room after he woke up. Coulson tried to bring him fried chicken, but he wouldn't open the door," Tony said.

"It seems his brother's matter has hurt Thor deeply," Eller guessed.

"Everyone here is," Tony said candidly. He seemed quite cheerful despite having experienced failure.

"Alright, you should go home and rest. Banner and I will try to continue tracking that blue elf and figure out a countermeasure. Captain America will also rally all available forces. As for you, just go home and rest, and fix your battle suit while you're at it."

"You're right, we need to find a way to defeat her," Eller replied.

At this moment, Eller saw the image of himself being pierced by some unknown force again. But he had already been stabbed through by the Mind Stone once, so why was he still seeing this image?

Carrying many questions, Eller returned to his home.

Upon opening the door, Eller smelled a fragrance. He followed the scent to the kitchen, where Wanda was making roasted chicken, New Orleans style.

"Looks like your cooking skills have improved, Wanda," Eller praised.

"Eller?" Hearing him, Wanda put down what she was doing. A hint of surprise appeared in her eyes as she looked at Eller. "Did something happen to you?"

"Huh?" Eller thought perhaps his acting had gotten worse, which was why Wanda saw through him, so he stubbornly said:

"Today was just a very normal day."

"That's impossible!" Wanda asserted, "You'll know if you look in a mirror."

"A mirror?" Eller was puzzled, but he still found a mirror at Wanda's suggestion. With the mirror, Eller finally saw his current appearance clearly.

His face was still as handsome as ever, but Eller looked closely and found the problem.

His originally deep brown, almost black eyes had turned blue, and several strands of white hair had appeared in his once thick black hair. Anyone who didn't know might think Eller had aged prematurely.

"That's why I said, did something happen to you to make you like this?" Wanda said, standing behind Eller.

However, Eller didn't hear a word Wanda said, because he had discovered something bad.

This change was not a good sign... Eller rubbed his temples in distress, then recalled the battle from not long ago. He desperately tried to remember the details and finally recalled that he had touched the mind stone with his hand before being pierced.

Could it be that his unintentional action absorbed a portion of the energy, and this power, after saving him, caused some changes Eller was unaware of?

Thinking of this, Eller reached for the battery of a razor. In a blink of an eye, the current was drawn out by him, much faster than before, and at the same time, he felt he could hear a faint voice.

'Do you have the resolve to protect this Planet?'

Eller tried his best to hear the voice clearly. He wanted to answer, but the voice was too far away from him. They couldn't establish effective communication.

"Eller?" Wanda softly called out to the dazed Eller.

Hearing her, Eller suddenly turned his head and said to Wanda, "I've got the winning formula now!"
