Stephanie's POV
Myron looked like he was about to have a heart attack. His face turned this weird purple color.
"You're bluffing!" he screamed at me. Spit actually flew from his mouth. "You think we're scared of your little folder?"
I didn't back up even an inch. "It's not the folder that should scare you," I said, keeping my voice steady even though my knees felt like jelly. "It's who's going to see what's inside. If anything happens to my little girl, or if I even get a suspicious paper cut, this whole file goes straight to the newspapers and the IRS. Your perfect little world will come crashing down before you can dial your lawyer's number."
The room got so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I watched Constantine's face. She's the clever one, she knows exactly how bad it'll be for them. Her eyes got real wide for a second before she put her cold mask back on. Myron is all hot air, but she knows I'm not playing games.
Figured I'd made my point. I turned to leave.
