Chapter 189 - Chapter 189 – Is Ultraman Tiga Really Bad with Directions?

"Wait!"

Yu Zhou shouted as he saw the alien man trying to grab the creature.

"This being is dangerous. It can't be left in the world!" the man explained, his voice tense. "Otherwise, this little girl will be in danger!"

"I'm not saying you can't destroy it," Yu Zhou said helplessly, spreading his hands. "It's just that your method isn't right."

Yu Zhou knew that this special investigator from the Bazu Nebula harbored no hostility; he simply acted recklessly and without much thought.

"Then why are you stopping me?!"

The man's voice trembled with agitation. Seeing Yuka clutching the creature, his heart ached.

"Yuka, do you trust what this uncle says?"

Yu Zhou squatted down and asked the girl gently.

"No!"

Yuka shook her head firmly, refusing to trust the alien. She still wanted to protect the cute creature inside the box.

"Alright, then… why don't we see if this little cutie is actually dangerous?" Yu Zhou suggested.

"See? What do you mean by that?!" The alien froze.

"Big brother, see what you mean?" Yuka asked curiously, unsure of Yu Zhou's plan.

"Here, Yuka, give me the crystal box."

After a moment's hesitation, Yuka handed it to Yu Zhou.

Yu Zhou placed the crystal box on the ground and, without warning, a hammer appeared in his hand. He struck the box down with force.

"Stop!"

The alien shouted. The crystal box was designed to seal Gyabish. If it broke, Gyabish would be unleashed and return to its monstrous form!

Sure enough, the harmless-looking creature inside the box grew rapidly as the shards spread.

It transformed into a ferocious beast—a massive wolf-like monster with sharp fangs, glowing red eyes, rippling muscles, and blue fur covering its body.

"Look at what you've done!" the alien yelled at Yu Zhou.

"Roar!"

Gyabish, now fully transformed, roared at the three humans, then stomped toward the alien. He rolled just in time to avoid the strike.

"Yuka, now you see how dangerous it is," Yu Zhou said calmly.

"Big brother… what do we do now?!" Yuka's eyes filled with tears. She hadn't expected this seemingly cute creature to be such a ferocious monster.

"Don't worry. If it's dangerous, we just have to deal with it."

Yu Zhou handed Yuka to the alien, letting him protect her.

Gyabish's glowing red eyes emitted a beam that enveloped Yu Zhou, pulling him inside.

"No! Its specialty is taking hostages!" the alien muttered, bracing himself as he shielded Yuka and fired several shots at the monster.

The attacks were ineffective. Gyabish, enraged, stomped harder.

"Yuka, run!"

The alien pushed her out of harm's way, determined to protect this Earth "daughter" at all costs.

Suddenly, a brilliant flash appeared inside Gyabish's eyes. With a deafening explosion, Gyabish's head shattered, and its massive body collapsed to the ground.

The alien watched in disbelief. This creature, which had caused devastation on his home planet, had just been destroyed so easily?

"Ultraman Tiga!"

Yuka shouted at the figure emerging from the light. As an orphan who had grown up in a children's home, she admired Ultramen, who protected people and defeated monsters.

Today, Ultraman had appeared and saved her.

"Ultraman Tiga…?"

The alien stared at the giant in the light, speechless. His planet was still battling monsters like Gyabish, and now the being called Tiga could easily help them.

He knew of the Light Giants' long history, but he had never seen one in person—until now, on Earth.

"Ultraman Tiga, I have a request!" the alien called out, stepping forward. "Could you come to our planet and help us?"

"Hmm?"

Yu Zhou hadn't expected this request. In the original story, the alien had died at Gyabish's hands. If he had survived and seen Dyna, he might have requested Dyna's help anyway.

"Yuka!"

From the orphanage by the sea, a woman shouted for Yuka.

"Yuka, come back! A monster just appeared!" She then noticed Tiga standing by the shoreline.

"Ultraman Tiga!"

The woman's eyes sparkled with admiration.

Yu Zhou nodded at everyone before flying into the sky, disappearing.

"Ultraman Tiga… gone?"

The alien muttered, watching the giant vanish. He sighed as he looked at Yuka, taken away by the caretaker. Though she resembled his deceased daughter, she wasn't his child.

"I can help your planet, but I have one request," Yu Zhou appeared behind the man and said slowly.

"It's you!" The alien turned sharply, staring at Yu Zhou. "So you are… Ultraman Tiga!"

"That's right," Yu Zhou nodded. "You can call me Yu Zhou. And you—why don't you introduce yourself?"

"I'm Dack, a special investigator from the Dais Star in the Bazu Nebula."

"Anything you ask, I'll agree to it, as long as you help us!"

Dack seemed determined, speaking earnestly to Yu Zhou.

"Anything?"

Yu Zhou rubbed his chin thoughtfully. His main goal in going to the Dais Star was to explore other planets and learn about civilizations. With a special investigator as a guide, he'd essentially have a navigation system in space.

"Alright, before I leave this world, you'll act as my space navigator," Yu Zhou finally said.

"Space navigator?" Dack blinked. He had expected some grand request, not to act as a GPS for Ultraman Tiga!

Yu Zhou smiled faintly. "Don't worry. I won't be leaving this world for a few years, and I won't travel through space often."

"No problem," Dack nodded. It shouldn't be too tiring to guide Tiga.
