As soon as Lilian reached her office and closed the door behind her, she pulled out her phone with trembling fingers.
Her heart was still racing from the adrenaline of what she had just done.
She had planted the evidence right under Cassandra Drayke's nose. The almighty Alpha who had killed her in her past life had been completely fooled and despite her trembling fingers, her lips curved into a satisfied smile as this thought raced through her mind.
Her fingers flew across the phone's screen as she typed out a message to Victor Hale:
"It's done. The package is in her office now. You need to work fast before she finds it."
She hit send and waited, pacing back and forth in her small office space.
Within seconds, her phone buzzed.
"Good. I have everything under control. Just sit tight and watch the show." Victor Hale had replied.
Lilian let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding.
