Cassandra stepped back into her room, closing the door behind her with more force than necessary.
Her conversation with her mother had left her seething with frustration and rage.
"Imprisoned the maids, imprisoned my driver, lied to the council, arranged a marriage without my consent..."
"And she thinks she's doing me a favor." She scoffed and shook her head in incredulity.
Then she began pacing the room with one thought in her mind;
"What do I do to sort out everything?"
She heaved a heavy sigh and slowly, an answer crept in her mind.
Cassandra grabbed her phone from the nightstand, her hands still trembling slightly from anger.
She stared at the screen for a long moment and bit a part of her lower lip as if to assure herself this was the right thing to do.
She was going to call Rose and understand why she did what she did, then they could talk about what to do.
"Damn it all, I don't care who should call first or not. I need answers." She thought.
