"What does it mean?" Serena mumbled under her breath, refusing to believe what she was hearing. The other contestants exchanged surprised looks, but no one was as frustrated and confused as she.
"Since it's too hard for me to decide which of the three selected works is going to be a winner based on the final result," Mr. Pritchett explained, "I would like to base my decision on the live skill execution."
He then snapped his fingers at one of his assistants. "Please get me three canvases and all the necessary tools for each participant's art style. With that, they will be given a task to draw a portrait, a scene, or a still life piece, replicating their unique style."
"I think this is a marvelous idea!" Another judge added, nodding in agreement. "This will help us see the talents working right before our eyes. This is where the real skill is!"
The guests supported the decision with a loud cheer, yet neither Serena nor Angela was happy about that.
