Chapter 1 - Realization

Two days after the birth of twins, the quiet atmosphere at the memorial stone in Konoha was disturbed by the soft rustling of leaves. Shisui Uchiha, a young Genin, knelt before the stone, placing a bouquet of white flowers alongside lit incense sticks.

With a respectful bow, he began to speak softly.

Shisui: "Mom, Dad, Grandpa Kagami, Aunt Isami has given birth to Uchiha Yagami and Uchiha Izumi. Please bless them to grow up as healthy and strong children. I'm their big brother now, and I have a lot of responsibilities—both as a Genin and as their protector. Goodbye for now."

He finished his prayer, took a deep breath, and with a shimmer of chakra, vanished in a Shunshin.

From the shadows, an old man emerged. The professor of Konoha, Sarutobi Hiruzen, watched the scene with a thoughtful expression. Taking a slow drag from his pipe, he exhaled a plume of smoke into the cool air.

Hiruzen: "It seems, Kagami, your descendant has inherited your Will of Fire. I'll ensure that he becomes a valuable protector of the village."

Hiruzen took another puff and disappeared into the village as quietly as he had come.

At the Hospital Discharge

At the hospital, Shisui eagerly arrived to assist his aunt Isami. She carried her newborn son, Yagami, while her husband, Kaito, carried their daughter, Izumi. Shisui moved to pick up their luggage, but Kaito gently stopped him.

Kaito: "No need for that. I've sealed everything into these scrolls."

Shisui dumb folded, having little to no knowledge in seals.

He handed the scrolls to Shisui with a small smile.

Kaito: "You can carry these instead. Walk with us, Shisui."

With their twins in their arms and Shisui trailing behind, they made their way home. Once there, the family set about rearranging the house, ensuring it was ready for the new additions.

For baby Yagami, however, the world was a confusing blur. His thoughts were clear, but his body refused to cooperate.

Yagami (thinking): "What... what's going on? Have I been reborn? Am I human again? I can't see clearly, and I have no control over this tiny body. This... this can't be real."

His silent musings were interrupted when Isami picked him up to feed him. A warmth he hadn't known in ages enveloped him, and he instinctively calmed down.

Time Skip: Three Years Later

Yagami's awareness grew sharper. He had begun piecing together the details of his new life.

Yagami (thinking): "This is Konoha... the Hidden Leaf Village. Is this some alternate universe? But no, everything I've observed matches the original Naruto storyline I remember. And my bloodline..."

He marveled at his heritage, feeling the power coursing through his tiny body.

Yagami (thinking): "half Uzumaki, half Uchiha? This is insane. A combination like this is ridiculously overpowered. And Izumi... my younger twin. Wait... Shisui is my cousin big brother? That means I'm in the same generation as Itachi."

As the realization dawned, a darker thought crossed his mind.

Yagami (thinking): "The Uchiha Clan's future... Should I align myself with them? But Shisui... I can't let some old man take his life for a pair of eyes. Not while I'm here.

I am not Ken anymore, but Yagami—Shisui's brother. Ken was a loner who never had a family. But now, I have a mom, a dad, a twin sister, an older brother, and even Grandpa Tanaka.

I must cherish this life and fulfill it to its fullest."

Yagami stood before the mirror, taking in his reflection. His jet-black hair and dark eyes marked him as a typical Uchiha. There was little outward trace of his Uzumaki heritage, save for his remarkable vitality, abundant chakra, and heightened sensory abilities.

Uchiha Yagami

Uchiha Izumi

In contrast, his twin sister, Izumi, had initially shown hints of red hair—a nod to their Uzumaki lineage—but those strands soon fell out, leaving her with the same black hair as most Uchiha. Still, her vitality and chakra reserves were unmistakably exceptional.

Stepping outside, Yagami headed to the practice grounds to hone his shuriken-throwing skills. Each throw was precise and calculated, a testament to his innate talent. In another world, he might have been hailed as a prodigy among prodigies, but for Yagami, it was muscle memory that mattered most. As a former assassin, he knew the critical role muscle memory played in survival.

Yagami knew that merely putting effort into every throw wouldn't be enough. Precision had to come naturally.

For six relentless months, he practiced day and night, perfecting his kunai and shuriken techniques.

To keep his training a secret, he cleverly convinced his parents that he was simply playing with some street friends.

All thanks to his talent, by the end of his rigorous practice, Yagami had mastered:

Basic kunai and shuriken throwing,Stringed, layered throws,Curved trajectories,Mid-air targeting.

The next morning, Shisui lifted Yagami into his arms and sat on the mat, after spinning himself and grinning.

Shisui: "Yagami! You're growing so fast."

Yagami smiled mischievously.😊

Yagami: "Niisan, will you come with me to my secret place?"

Shisui raised an eyebrow.

Shisui: "Secret place?"

Yagami: "Yes, just you and me."

Shisui's face lit up with excitement. J

Shisui: "Really? I'm ready!"

Yagami led his older brother deep into the dense forest. After a short walk, he stopped, knelt down, and began digging into the sand. From the ground, he unearthed a hidden plastic bag filled with shurikens and kunai.

Shisui stared in disbelief as he noticed the trees around them marked with intricate target patterns.

Shisui: "Yagami, do you want me to teach you how to aim?"🏹

Yagami: "Please wait, Niisan."

With that, Yagami picked up his weapons, infused chakra into his legs, and leapt high into the air. In a breathtaking display of skill, he hit all the targets perfectly before landing gracefully on the ground.

Shisui was stunned, his mouth slightly agape. For a moment, he couldn't find any words. Yagami, noticing his brother's silence, walked over and pinched him hard.

Shisui: "Ouch! What was that for?"

Yagami: "Niisan, what happened?"

Shisui finally recovered, staring at Yagami with a mix of pride and amazement.

Shisui: "Yagami, you're exceptional! Not every Chunin in Konoha have this level of mastery. How… how did you manage this?"

He glanced at Yagami's hands and noticed the scars, cuts, and bandages.

Shisui (thinking): "He's trained relentlessly. The Uchiha blood in him truly shines."

Smiling warmly, Shisui ruffled Yagami's hair.

Shisui: "Well done, Yagami! You're really amazing. So, what reward do you want?"

Without missing a beat, Yagami's eyes lit up.

Yagami: "I want to learn the Shadow Clone Jutsu and your Body Flicker Technique, Niisan!"

Shisui: "How did you know about my Body Flicker method?"

Yagami: "Last week, when Mom left me at Grandpa Tanaka's place, I overheard you talking about a special version of it."

Shisui blinked, recalling the moment. He realized how careless he had been to discuss such advanced techniques with Yagami nearby.

Shisui: "To learn my special technique, you'll need to master the normal flicker moves first. Once you've got that down, I'll guide you step by step."

Yagami: "Okay, Niisan!"

Shisui smiled and showed Yagami the hand signs for the Shadow Clone Jutsu, adding tips on refining basic flicker techniques.

From that day on, Yagami committed himself to intense training. For four months, from dawn at 5 a.m. to late evening at 8 p.m., he practiced tirelessly. He honed his Body Flicker Technique, kunai throwing, chakra control for tree climbing and water walking, and the basic three jutsu he'd learned at home.

One evening at home, Yagami returned after another long day of training.

Yagami: "Mom."

Isami: "Yagami, you're finally back."

Yagami: "I feel bad."

Isami: "Bad about what?"

Yagami: "Lying to you about going out to play."

Isami: "Then where have you been going?"

Yagami: "I've been training in secret."

Isami placed her hand on her forehead and sighed.

Isami: "Training in secret? Yagami, why didn't you tell me?"

Yagami: "I thought ninjas were supposed to have secrets."

Isami knelt down, resting a hand gently on his shoulder.

Isami: "Yagami, we're family. You can share things with us. You don't have to keep secrets from us."

Yagami paused, her mother's words stirring emotions deep within him. In his past life, he had been a solitary figure, doing as he pleased without anyone's concern. But here, in this new life, he had a family that cared for him. He was starting to understand how precious that connection truly was.

Yagami: "Then, Mom, you have to teach me something."

Isami raised an eyebrow, her thoughts running wild. "This kid... Did he confess his secret just to learn something new from me? Have I fallen for his trick? But he's so adorable. Fine, I'll teach him a thing or two."

Isami: "Alright, what do you want to learn?"

Yagami: "I want to learn jutsu like fire style and kenjutsu"

Isami laughed softly.

Isami: "You're not a full Uchiha, you know. Since your father is an Uzumaki, let's see if you even have the fire affinity first."

Yagami: "How will you test for that, Mom?"

Isami: "Your dad left some chakra paper behind for his sealing experiments. We'll use that."

Yagami: "Oh, I see!"

Isami retrieved the chakra paper and held it out to him.

Isami: "Normally, we'd have to unlock your chakra to test for affinities, but you and your sister activated your chakra while I was giving birth. So, no need for that step. Go ahead and let your chakra flow into the paper."

Yagami nodded, focusing as instructed. The chakra paper split into three distinct pieces, each reacting differently.

Isami observed closely and explained the results.

Isami: "Fire, Wind, and Lightning. You have three affinities!"

Yagami: "That doesn't sound like much."

Isami: "What? No, Yagami, it's incredible! Even your father only had Fire and Wind affinities. You're exceptional."

Yagami: "What about you, Mom? What affinities do you have?"

Isami: "Fire and Lightning. Looks like you got the best of both worlds."

Their conversation was interrupted by Izumi, who came out holding her drawing notebook. She showed them a picture she had drawn of their family.

Isami's mood instantly brightened, and she gave Izumi a warm smile.

After a hearty dinner, Yagami lay down in bed, his heart full of gratitude for this life and the family he had been blessed with. Soon, he drifted off to sleep.
