(Third Person POV)

"No. I don't want to marry anyone else…." Daella said with tears in her eyes, "Don't let them make me, Baelon."

"What was the point of all thise favors i did for you, Baelon?!" Alyssa scowled at her husband, "If you couldn't convince Father to betroth Vaelor and Daella!"

Baelon was sitting down on the chair, being scolded by Alyssa as he had a frown on his face.

"Its out of my control, you know that." He said, "The Old Man always gets stubborn, don't act like he doesn't."

"Brother, please." Daella pleaded, "I beg of you, tell Father not to do this."

Baelon rubbed his hair, "Daella, I tried." He said while looking to the side, "But he won't budge."

The doors to Daella's chambers opened and Lady Jocelyn walked in. She was wearing a dark red dress, with golden yellow embroidery. Her beautiful black hair was combed straight, draping on her shoulders elegantly.

"Lady Jocelyn…." Daella said, trying to compose herself

"Daella." Jocelyn walked over to them, "It appears Aemon was unsuccessful as well."

Alyssa frowned, "Damn it." She said, "Did you do the thing? You know? With those…?"

She pointed at Jocelyn's chest who simply closed her eyes.

"My beloved husband was more than happy to oblige after performing that." She said before clearing her throat, "But Aemon couldn't convince him."

Baelon frowned, "Oh, so that's why Alyssa let me put it in her-"

"Shut up." Alyssa cut him off, "Damnit. What else could we do? Our Father is the most stubborn man we know!"

"I suppose he should be. Thay way, my brother can hold down 7 Kingdoms." Jocelyn said, "But even with something like this, he won't budge. A harmless betrothal between his son and daughter….it won't hurt anyone. It won't cause any shifts in succession. Why wouldn't he do it?"

Daella looked down, "I suppose it is not meant to be…."

"Don't give up!" Alyssa said encouragingly, "Vaelor just let his feelings be known to you! There is no way he will let you be married to someone else! We have to think of something. We used our most powerful weapons and it didn't work…."

"Such a shame. Aemon will be quite obsessed with that technique from now own." Jocelyn said

"You gals are thinking wrongly here." Baelon spoke up

Alyssa frowned, "What?"

"Yes, using those weapons of yours is right." Baelon said, "But you two using it on Aemon and I respectively? Not going to work. Be smarter."

Jocelyn blinked, "What?"

Baelon crossed his arms, "Do I have to spell it out for you?" He asked, "Get Mother to charm Father and convince him."

Alyssa's eyes beamed, "Wonderful idea!" She hugged Baelon, "I will certainly do that. Baelon~~~ You deserve a reward for that~~~"

Jocelyn sighed, "I suppose that makes sense."

Daella was confused by all of this, "I don't understand…." She said, "What do you mean using weapons?"

"Do not worry, child." Jocelyn told her, "One day you will understand. Until then, let us handle this."

**************

"You want me to what?!" Alysanne exclaimed, "Are you mad????"

The Queen was walking down the hallway when her daughter approached her. Alyssa had vouched for her mother to "charm" her father in an attempt to convince him to betroth Vaelor and Daella.

Alyssa smirked slightly, "Come on, Mother." She said as she nudged her elbow, "He's your husband. You ought to relieve his tension once in a while. But add a little extra to convince him!"

"And what do you mean by extra?" Alysanne closed her eyes and trying to keep composure as she walked, "Be wary of the exact words you use?"

"Oh you know." Alyssa said, "Mouth. Chest. A little tickling somewhere in the back. Perhaps using your tongue back-"

"I told you to keep quiet!" Alysanne exclaimed as she scowled, "Gods, girl, do you perform such vulgarities with your husband?"

"Yes." Alyssa said with a smile, "I keep him tightly wrapped around my finger that way. Keeps him from ever thinking of being unfaithful. Not like I need to do that, I know he won't ever betray me."

Alysanne stopped, "Girl, you are….." she said with a sigh, "Why would I ever, in a hundred years, even do that?"

"You have to convince him to betroth Daella and Vaelor." Alyssa grabbed her hands, "Please! They love each other. I want them to be happy! Don't you?"

Alysanne looked down, "I do."

"Then please help us." Alyssa said, "Vaelor is a good boy but he's bound to do something stupid, I know that. Don't forget what happened that day, the way he acted on impulse and nearly caused a conflict. Mother, this is for the hest."

Alysanne sighed again, "I….will see what I can do." She told her, "But your Father is nothing short of stubborn. It will take more than…..this….to convince him."

"I mean, if you use the right technique, you can convince a man to do anything." Alyssa smirked, "I do this thing with Baelon where I stick my finger inside his-"

"I do not need to hear that!" Alysanne closed her eyes and stepped away, "Have you no shame?"

"You didn't let me finish." Alyssa said, "I use my tongue on the tip of-"

"By the gods, keep that to yourself!" Alysanne exclaimed as she began to walk away hastily, "I will speak to your Father and I will try to convince him, now let me be."

Alyssa watched as her mother walked away, a bit skeptical about her response.

"Hm….hopefully she does use her charms…." She said, "Its going to-"

"What the fuck are you doing?" Vaelor suddenly appeared next to her, giving her a scowl

"Oh!" Alyssa jumped, "Don't sneak up on me!"

"You're telling Mother to use her body to convince the King?" Vaelor asked, "All that will do is get us another sibling and Father will remain adamant about his decision. You are a fool."

Alyssa scowled, "I am doing this for you, ungrateful brat."

"Oh I am grateful." He said, "But you're going about this wrong."

"What?" Alyssa said

"Father will not allow for another House to gain access to the Dragon's Blood. Especially if it isn't a Valyrian House." Vaelor told her

"So, what?" Alyssa said, "What is your point?"

"The simple solution is to have Daella be a dragonrider." Vaelor told her, "Our late aunt's dragon is free at the moment and has heen restless, in need of a bond."

"Daella will need to claim Dreamfyre
