She pushed up, the eyes transforming into rage and the menders running backwards in fright. Elara pushed the constraints with all the energy she could muster as the massive beast flew at break neck speed at them. The beast opened it's mouth and she could feel the temperature increase by several notches. Before she could blink, a heat blast lurched out and she could feel her throat dry up in fear. Her heart palpitating in excitement. She had studied countless books, no one has ever survived a dragon's flame breath. Chances were slim. Even elders we're scared of ever getting a dragon angry. She cried in fear, her mouth releasing nothing but air.
Her eyes closed in fright, her bones trembled violently in cowardice. Fear etched into every being, fibre and cell of her. Her heart screamed" you are going to die!" She raised her hand to cover herself. Hearing screams that tore through the fabric of her sanity. Turning he into a piece of puppetry it's puppeteer was unable to finish. She was in every sense vulnerable, to them all. Now a dark dragon would happily chomp her into toast.
The fire breath lurched forward missing her completely. She raised a arm, the dragon swimming past her and in the weirdest fashion, vanished into mid air. She opened her eyes surprised, she was still well tied to the stretcher. She turned backwards askew, seeing the menders shriek in pain, screaming and writhing as if catching fire. She could not even picture such level of insanity. Their daggers however, were firmly stuck into their skin, blood slowly covering the ground. The stretcher was balanced perfectly still on the floor as if that incident had never occurred.
She pulled violently, the constraints biting into her skin and drawing blood in tiny drops. Blood began to sprout out of the turn flesh. She stood up, moving quickly to the corridor end. The balcony wall was close before her. She stood up, moving towards the balcony wall and gazing at the war below. She could see terrified shrieks rise and corpses that became of those who were unfortunate. Suddenly, a screeching noise was pulling all the dragons away. Towards a source. Blasting every one back. She held her head in pain, migraines blasting from all corners of her head. Her curse moving through every fibre of her body. Igniting every tissue with medieval pain. She could feel her nose bleed, her brain melt to mush. She tried to cry, but her voice was lost, like a voiceless Melody. She leaned on the wall, squeezing her Ash hair in her hands, her mended leg was vibrating with pain as if she was been shot with a new dose of pain each time she recovered from one.
She could hear thunderous wing beats, she tried to keep her eyes away, to turn and run home. But her body refused to leave. She could feel each cell in her turn to the source of the discord. Every dragon was now scattering. Shooting every thing they could touch in flames. Elara turned, seeing onyx black wings rise, with golden tattoos and seals covering it. Her curse leapt with vibrance, spiking pain in her chest. She squeezed her hair tighter. No tears were left in her eyes. She could no longer hold it in. She was dying. As the empyrean dragon began to surface, her heart began a marathon, hitting her ribs harshly. The pain shooting up in her.
Then she could feel it, a touch. A source of help? Strength? Before she could turn, she could turn, she could see herself falling. The wind wiping against her face and hair. She could feel her world turn upside down. And then she made impact. Her world turning black as her brain exploded...someone finally murdered her.

He crashed in, his golden eyes etched in her. He could see a monster. A beast that could tear his kingdom from his hands. He moved, pushing the bed down. Her head smashing into the cupboard that lay beside it. She groaned, screamed in pain. He wanted to stop, but he needed justification for the anger he felt. She was an outcast, a curse to Audrigald. He would not let someone destroy something that took his family eons to build. He moved forward, the onyx blade shimmering in his hand. All logic said yes, all emotions said no. But justice was blind wasn't it?
There was no other way to settle this than to kill her here and now. She cringed, held her hair in pain and offered silent sobs. He moved towards her slowly, each step was more firmer than the first. Anger spiking up in his golden eyes. " Goodbye Elara Ashwood" he laughed. His grip on the onyx blade was very firm. " She is a threat Ashdod, eliminate her." Professor calyne muttered in his head. She opened her eyes tears falling down in angered drips. She looked in vengeance at him. She tried to plead but she knew better. Some souls were more corrupted than they appeared. She moved towards the wall, he rushed lifting his arm to strike down in anger. But a force warped around it throwing him against the wall.
He turned just as a boot rammed into his stomach. He vomited blood and saliva, another kick slamming into his face and he could feel the bone there snap. There was running feet's at the door. Wing beats outside. The door knob was twisting violently and she saw as he was tossed like a rag doll. Black warped his neck as he pierced his sword into his arm. Ashdod let out a yell. " Elara!" Jason yelled outside. She turned to the door, pain still dancing in her brain. She could see things in two. Each movement became a dance if pain. Ashdod surpassed the aggressor, pushing the onyx blade down and scrambling for the window. He jumped without a second thought. Landing gracefully on the dragon. The figure dashed after him riding his own dragon too.
The door swung open and Jason, Relma and Ridoc swarm in. Relma knelt close to her helping her sit well. " F***k... How did this happen?" Relma cried patting Elara's head and reassuring her, Elara turning to the window in fright. Her mind still blank from what she had been through. " It will be alright. Take a deep breath" Relma said smiling. She gave her two dose of a tablet and Elara could see the image if the room floor in back. " What...what happen" Elara muttered. " You were nearly killed by someone." Relma said. " Not just some one, the dragon star of the black Ash academy." Ridoc said. Relma turned to him alarmed. " Yes." Jason proved the claims. " He is the dragon star. But why would he try to kill you?" Jason asked.
" I...I don't know. I'm not sure." Elara muttered. " But did you see the other guy?" Jason asked. Elara muttered in negative. It all happened too fast. she was still recovering while they forth. " Look Elara you need to tell me every thing. Someone out there is not just a threat to you but the entire academy." Jason said. Elara could not understand. She was still feeling a slight blur in her mind. Unable to access any of her memory. " I can't remember." Elara muttered. " I will help you remember. Let me in." Jason muttered in a low whispered that sent warmth through her. He held her chin gazing into the inky purple gemstone eyes if hers. He pulled back in fear. His heart beating in a fast pace. Sweat began pouring out of his fire head. Every one in the room was surprised. " Jason are you alright?" Elara managed to mutter.
" How did this happen?" Jason muttered, losing his mind, turning insane as he clutched his knees in fright. She inhaled and exhaled looking at his eyes for clarity. " Jason...?" She asked. He inhaled and exhaled rapidly, fear in his eyes. " The... The... Empyrean... It is coming!"
