"Spare you?" George looked at Kane like he was an idiot.
He asked back, "If I were the one on the ground, would you spare me?"
Kane froze, but still refused to give up. "I just lost my head for a moment. Please give me another chance!"
"You don't deserve it!" George let out a cold laugh and raised the Dwarves King Iron Hammer high.
Just as he was about to bring it down, Kane suddenly struggled and shouted, "Do you know the Azure League? The Azure League in the North!"
George's Iron Hammer stopped in midair. He smiled and asked, "Of course I do."
Seeing George pause, Kane looked proud and said, "One of the Azure League's elders is my uncle. Are you sure you want to go against me?"
He paused, then added with a hint of threat, "If you kill me, you'll face the Azure League's fury!"
Hearing that, George couldn't hold back and smiled. "That's perfect."
Before Kane could speak again, the Iron Hammer smashed down hard, sending Kane to the afterlife.
He was already at odds with the Azure League-one more grudge didn't matter.
After dealing with Kane, the other players looked at George with pleading eyes, hoping he'd show mercy.
But George didn't like leaving hidden dangers. Pulling weeds out by the root was the best way.
As his hammer fell like rain, a dozen players died one after another.
"George! How did you do that!" Emily ran over in a hurry, her face full of shock.
"Just luck," George said with a shrug, keeping it brief.
"Told you, Emily-he's not like other players!" a familiar voice sounded by George's ear.
He turned and saw Louise riding her broom over, no one knew when she'd arrived.
"You weren't watching the whole time, were you?" George asked, looking a bit odd.
"More or less. If you couldn't handle them, I would've stepped in," Louise said with a playful smile.
Seeing them flirt, Emily couldn't help a jab of jealousy and waved her hand. "Alright, alright, Louise-hurry up and take George away!"
Louise snorted and was about to pull George onto the broom, but Emily suddenly hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.
After the kiss, she shot Louise a provocative look.
Louise kept a calm face, loosened the front of her clothes, and said to George, "Little George, don't you love to eat? Come on."
Seeing this, Emily's face flushed. She called her a perv and ran back to her hut without looking back.
"Compete with me, will you!" Louise smiled smugly and was about to close her clothes, but George stopped her.
"Keep your word," George said with a straight face, then suddenly bit down on her breasts.
On the broom, Louise let George's hands roam over her breasts while she listened to him describe the fight in the forest.
When George finished, Louise smiled and said, "Little George, the Dragon Bone ship is yours now. Have you decided where to go?"
"The Arctic-the ruins of the Battlefield of Gods and Demons," George said without hesitation.
"Why there? We should go north first and seize the lead!" Louise asked, puzzled.
All the players were flocking north, and if they didn't go in time, they might lose their edge.
"Everyone's in the North. Even if we're strong, the resources we can grab will be limited. Better to explore the ruins of the Battlefield of Gods and Demons first-maybe we'll get an unexpected gain," George explained in a low voice.
"Alright, that makes sense." Louise nodded; she was convinced.
Back on the ship, Sophia and Dorothy hurried over and looked at George with concern.
Seeing that he was fine, they finally let out a breath of relief.
George put an arm around each of them, looking very pleased with himself.
Louise shot George a glare, then quietly went to pilot the Dragon Bone ship.
She changed the Dragon Bone ship's course, shifting their destination from the North to the Arctic.
Along the way, the Dragon Bone ship sped forward, and they saw fewer and fewer ships.
Clearly, most players chose to head north rather than to the Arctic.
After all, compared to the vague promise of the Battlefield of Gods and Demons, the solid resource rewards in the North were more cost-effective.
When the Dragon Bone ship was about halfway through the journey, they suddenly came across a wrecked ship.
It was medium-sized and simply decorated, now battered to pieces and only a step away from sinking.
The people on that ship saw George's Dragon Bone ship and immediately raised a big flag with "Help me" written on it!
"Little George, you're the captain now-what do we do?" Louise flew over and asked George with a smile.
George thought for a moment, then shook his head. "We don't know if they're good or bad. Better forget it."
Louise nodded, but still mounted her broom and flew out.
A moment later, she came back on her broom and said with a smile, "They're a ship from a northern Guild. They were raided by the Azure League and are on the run now!"
Hearing that, Sophia's face changed, and she said awkwardly, "Our Guild is big-there will always be some people with low morals."
George didn't blame Sophia for anything. He just said calmly, "Since they're enemies of the Azure League, we can save them. We can also get some news about the North from them."
With George's instruction, Louise nodded and at once steered the Dragon Bone ship toward the wrecked vessel.
When they got close, George set a ladder across and let the crew climb over one by one.
Even so, George didn't drop his guard; the Deep Sea Shield and the Dwarves King Iron Hammer were ready at any time.
There were seventeen rescued sailors, led by a rough-faced big man.
He had several wounds and a pale face, but he still endured the pain, bowed to George, and said, "Thank you for saving us!"
George waved his hand and said lightly, "We'll take you to the nearest island. You can contact your Guild to come rescue you."
"Thank you, thank you! My name is Origi!" the big man said with joy, thanking George again and again.
"But why were you raided by the Azure League?" George asked.
Origi was silent for a moment, then said through gritted teeth, "Our Cloudsea Guild had a shipment to move. The Azure League learned about it. They wanted that cargo, so they came to rob us!"
"They're nothing but bandits!" Dorothy muttered on the side.
George nodded in agreement, while Sophia kept her head down and said nothing.
"What about your cargo?" George asked, pointing at the wrecked ship.
Origi thought for a moment, cupped his hands to George, and said, "How about this: you tow our ship for us, and we'll give you half the profit from the cargo!"
"Deal." George nodded, accepting the plan.
He didn't need the money, but that didn't mean he wanted to play the selfless saint.
After settling everyone in and hitching the wreck to them, George told Louise to set sail.
He thought the rest would be smooth, but trouble came fast.
In the distant sea fog, a dozen ships took shape-warships loaded with weapons.
"Azure League ships!" Sophia's face changed as she spoke to George.
The warships had clearly spotted their Dragon Bone ship-and the Cloudsea Guild vessel trailing behind.
Soon a man's arrogant voice boomed from the warships: "Listen up! Hand over the Cloudsea Guild people and all their cargo, and we'll let you live!"
He paused, then said coldly, "Otherwise, you can die with them."
"Too arrogant!" Dorothy said, leaning against George.
"Lord George!" Origi came over respectfully, a hint of grief and anger in his voice. "So we don't drag you and your friends down, please hand us and our ship over."
He paused, gritted his teeth, and said, "I only ask one favor: tell our Guild what happened so they can avenge us. As payment, I'll give you all my items and resources."
George glanced at Origi and gently shook his head. "No."
Origi froze, his eyes dimming.
But what George said next stunned him.
"I won't hand you over."
