Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 : My Mangekyō can copy certain unique jutsu ( Re Write)

Arata's caution was unmistakable, his tone solemn.

"Finally," he said, "can you tell me the name and ability of your Mangekyō? I need to plan accordingly."

"Of course," he added calmly, "I'll tell you mine first. Fair is fair."

Shisui fell silent for a moment, weighing the logic behind Arata's words. For the future of the clan, cooperation between the two of them was essential.

He nodded.

Arata relaxed—though only slightly.

All this discussion, all this effort…

It was for one purpose alone.

To copy Kotoamatsukami.

Pointing to his left eye, Arata spoke evenly.

"My Mangekyō—left eye—is called Time's Rift. It shows fragments of the future. Random, uncontrollable… just as you already know."

Shisui nodded.

Arata's lips curled into a mischievous grin.

"Shisui… do you remember my nickname?"

"Of course," Shisui replied without hesitation.

"'The Copying Eye of the Uchiha.' You're the best in the clan at replicating enemy techniques."

Arata chuckled and pointed to his right eye.

"My right eye's ability is called Copying Eye. Take a guess at what it does."

Shisui frowned slightly, thinking.

"You could already replicate jutsu with a three-tomoe Sharingan," he murmured.

"Now that it's Mangekyō… I assume the ability has evolved."

Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine.

His eyes widened in disbelief.

Arata grinned openly.

"Exactly. My Mangekyō allows me to copy certain unique techniques."

"Special techniques," he continued,

"known as Kekkei Genkai."

In truth, Arata's Sharingan was not yet capable of fully copying Kekkei Genkai.

But according to the system, once he copied Shisui's Kotoamatsukami and evolved it into a Mangekyō-level technique, he would be able to replicate part of its power.

Seeing Shisui's reaction, Arata scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Don't panic," he said lightly.

"Only a handful of techniques can be copied. It's not as broken as it sounds."

Shisui exhaled, forcing himself to calm down. Then he let out a quiet laugh.

"I thought my Mangekyō was terrifying," he said,

"but yours is just as dangerous."

His expression turned serious as he continued.

"My Mangekyō—both eyes—possess a technique called Kotoamatsukami."

"It allows me to manipulate a person's mind without them ever realizing it, permanently altering their thoughts and will."

"But there's a fatal drawback," he added quietly.

"The cooldown is extremely long. After using it once, it takes at least ten years before it can be activated again."

He let out a deep sigh.

"I hoped to use it to ease the tension between the clan and the village. But now…"

"It seems I may lose both my life and my eyes before that ever happens."

Arata listened in silence.

Now, he was one step closer to his goal.

Choosing his words carefully, he said,

"If that's your Mangekyō… then I know how to balance the tension between the clan and the village."

Hearing Arata's words, Shisui felt as though he were drowning—and had just grasped a final lifeline.

Among all the Uchiha, Shisui was the one who most desired peace between the clan and Konoha.

If Arata's plan were to have the Uchiha abandon the village entirely, Shisui would be the one most opposed to it.

Yet under the current circumstances, withdrawing from Konoha was undeniably the safest option.

Konoha, the First Ninja Village, was plagued by crises both great and small.

And in just a few years, that rogue student of Jiraiya would return to capture the Nine-Tails.

He would unleash a devastating attack—something akin to Chōjinriki Raikōken—reducing the vast village to ruins.

And that was merely one disaster among many yet to come.

For now, the safest solution was a full relocation of the Uchiha clan.

Perhaps the Third Hokage, seeing the clan act prudently, would even arrange a formal farewell.

But even such a farewell could be a trap—

a polite ceremony masking the path to eradication.

Shisui, a man devoted to the Will of Fire, loved more than just his clan.

He loved the entire village.

For him, leaving Konoha was not an easy choice—

one he might never be able to accept.

Thus, the only remaining way to preserve both his life and the future of the Uchiha was to ease the tension between the clan and the village.

That alone could change the fate of a clan destined for annihilation.

Arata fixed his gaze on Shisui.

The most crucial question was about to be asked.
