Now we're at the finals!
I can't believe it. I'm actually here. Top four. Out of thousands. I want to scream, cry, and eat rice all at once.
"Kyaaa! I'm tired and hungry!" I groaned, clutching my stomach as the system flashed the finalists' names across the arena's sky. "At this point, if I don't get food after this, I'm uninstalling!"
The screen shimmered, names glowing like divine judgment:
Final Four - Yukon (Spearman), Zeref (Mage), Kael (Assassin), Leonhart (Swordswoman... and the hungriest person alive).
The crowd, aka the remaining players and spectators, went wild. Not that I could hear them over the rumbling of my own stomach.
We all got teleported outside the arena, a dizzying swirl of light, ugh, again, and landed in the floating stands that overlooked the new battlefield.
A shimmering marble coliseum suspended in the clouds, all golden bridges and too much dramatic lighting.
"Someone needs to nerf the graphics budget," I muttered.
