Dahlia's POV
Soren stepped into the room just as Christina was coming out. The collision of their paths created an instant moment of tension.
Christina's face transformed the second she spotted Soren. Her expression twisted into something between shock and pure terror, as if she had encountered something dangerous rather than simply her employer's husband.
I found myself puzzled by her reaction. Soren couldn't possibly be that frightening, could he? When I first laid eyes on him, his striking appearance had left me breathless, but fear had never crossed my mind.
During our time together, there were certainly moments when Soren seemed dangerous. His piercing gaze had a way of cutting straight through me, those sharp eyes filled with an icy coldness that sent chills down my spine. But even then, I had never experienced the kind of terror that now painted Christina's features.
