Dahlia's POV
A middle-aged woman emerged from the kitchen, her warm smile catching me off guard as she approached. "Good morning, Madam. Mr. Zaid is waiting for you to join him for breakfast."
I stood there for a moment, processing her words.
"Vivien will be managing your daily needs from now on," Soren explained as I settled into the chair across from him. "No need to keep traveling back and forth between places. Just head next door when you need anything."
He took a measured sip of his coffee before continuing. "Yoko handles the cleaning duties next door, and we have a chef as well. Vivien takes care of household maintenance and prepares our morning meals. For dinner, we'll eat at Mom's house whenever possible."
I gave him a brief nod. Having someone else handle the cleaning sounded appealing enough. But I could see right through his real motives. This wasn't about convenience. This was about surveillance.
