Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: My Shark, my Shark, how did you become weaker as a six-star!

Upon hearing the voice, Ying Zhuan involuntarily flinched.

This voice had been a nightmare for A1 Team during this period. Not only did she scam them for food and drinks, but she also got them punished by making them clean toilets. Thinking of the smell of the toilets, Ying Zhuan's face turned from red to green, and then from green to purple.

"Heh heh, heh heh, heh heh~~ Isn't this little Kanna? What makes you want to play in the training room?" However, facing a little one, Ying Zhuan couldn't bring himself to be angry, so he reluctantly smiled and asked.

Kanna casually pulled out a lollipop from her pocket and handed it to Ying Zhuan, then knowingly asked, "Why is it so empty here?"

"It's Specter, the nun who's training."

Ying Zhuan never thought he would one day be handed a lollipop by a young girl, but looking at her blinking big eyes, he uncharacteristically didn't refuse and started chatting with Kanna. (Monthly fee group 694.936135)

It was also because Kanna had interacted with them often when she ran around previously, so everyone was very familiar with her. They knew Kanna was a smart child beyond her years and didn't treat her entirely as a child.

When he took the lollipop and skillfully put it in his mouth, he suddenly felt the strange gazes around him.

Looking up, he saw everyone looking at him with disdain, surprised that this burly, thick-browed, big-eyed fellow actually had a hobby of conning lollipops from little girls.

"No, listen to me, this candy was given by Kanna voluntarily, she gave it to me voluntarily! Kanna, Kanna, help me explain…"

When he turned to look for Kanna, he found that she had disappeared. He looked up again and saw that Kanna had already reached Specter's side.

"Terrible," "Scumbag," "Bad guy."

Amidst countless misinformed disdainful looks, Ying Zhuan turned into a melancholy soft brick, hiding in the corner and drawing circles while staring at the crowd.

Kanna didn't notice Ying Zhuan's sadness; instead, she walked to a spot not far from Specter.

"Little friend, getting too close to me might hurt you!"

Catching sight of Kanna approaching, Specter swung the chainsaw in her hand, showering sparks as she sawed the target in front of her.

"Sister Specter, your movements have a feeling Kanna can't quite describe. Hmm~~ I think you must be a very good dancer!" Although Specter's movements seemed exaggerated and a bit wild, Kanna saw a hint of dance in them.

"Dance? Heh heh heh… Perhaps!" Hearing Kanna's words, Specter's eyes seemed to see something, and a trace of memory appeared on her face, but it quickly subsided.

And with the calming of her expression, Specter's movements became even more ferocious, as if a sworn enemy was before her, and she was determined to tear them to dust with her chainsaw.

Kanna did not shy away from Specter's unusual behavior but stood boldly to the side. After observing for a while, she concluded that Specter's attacks indeed had a ballroom dance feel. The classic line from the Virtuoso, "I bloom in slaughter, like a flower at dawn," could describe Specter's appearance in battle.

Beautiful,

Elegant,

Fierce,

Extreme.

Seeing Specter completely shift her attention to the target, Kanna, after witnessing the display, slowly retreated, not continuing to disturb her training.

"Tsk, you're really brave. Look at the others; let alone getting close, they don't even dare to stand nearby. After all, no one can be sure if this woman will suddenly go mad, and no one can withstand what she has in her hand."

After Kanna walked back, Ying Zhuan, as the safety officer, carefully looked at Specter from the side. He only breathed a sigh of relief when he realized she wasn't paying attention to him.

Kanna turned her head and glanced at Ying Zhuan, feeling a bit surprised. It had only been ten minutes at most, yet he looked a whole lot older and much more tired.

"I—"

"My little ancestor, isn't Sister Lena's Greenhouse fun? It's so dangerous here, don't wander around. If something goes wrong, I'll be hung on the bridge."

Seeing Kanna about to speak, Ying Zhuan bowed deeply, only begging this little devil king not to torment him anymore.

"Uh~" Seeing Ying Zhuan looking like he was about to burn out, Kanna was very confused. She hadn't done anything, just came to check on Specter. But since Skadi wasn't around, and she had already admired Specter's "war dance," there wasn't much point in staying. The training equipment here, except for the targets, was useless to her.

Thinking this, she no longer "troubled" Ying Zhuan and turned to dart out of the training room.

Seeing Kanna leave, Ying Zhuan plopped onto the ground, thanking heavens that this little ancestor had finally gone.

Before he could even sigh in relief, the sound of a chainsaw whirring rang in his ear.

"Excuse me, coming through."

"Huh!" He sprang up from the ground and turned to find Specter standing behind him.

Specter looked at Ying Zhuan and then at her weapon. "Sorry, I forgot to turn it off."

Without waiting for Ying Zhuan to react, she shouldered the chainsaw and left.

"Holy crap!" Ying Zhuan, who was always praised in the team for his rock-solid inner strength, couldn't help but let out a classic Yan expletive to vent his frustration.

After Kanna walked out, she heard a huge roar from the Medical Department. Driven by curiosity, she slipped over to the Medical Department.

Upon arriving, she found that the Medical Department had been abruptly torn open with a huge gap. Several doctors were slumped on the ground, clinging to each other and trembling in fear, while on the other side, a Sarkaz man was holding a fainted Rosmontis.

Accompanied by footsteps, Kal'tsit and her people also arrived at the scene.

She glanced at the chaotic scene and sighed softly. It seemed she had been too hasty. It was also due to the recent period of calm that she had forgotten that Rosmontis was a "bomb" that could be easily detonated.

"Notify the engineering team to make emergency repairs here. Are any of you injured?" Kal'tsit said to the person next to her, then asked the doctors present.

"No, thankfully Logos appeared at the most dangerous moment; he controlled the patient." Although they had nearly died there not long ago, the doctors quickly calmed down and reported the situation to Kal'tsit.

"Alright, this was my mistake. If you feel any discomfort, I approve a week of leave for everyone. I'll take this child for now." Kal'tsit sincerely apologized for the error in arrangement, then glanced at Logos, signaling him to carry Rosmontis and follow her.

"Let's go to Sister Lena's Greenhouse! Rosmontis is most stable there." Just as Kal'tsit was considering whether to send her back to her dorm or arrange her in a safe and controllable place, Kanna's voice came from the side.
