Chapter 82 - Chapter 81: Robbery! Only taking lives, not wealth… nor beauty.

Outcast nodded.

"Old man, come and sit."

The man nodded, then sat beside Outcast.

It's unknown what they discussed there, but they talked for a long time. In the end, all the young and strong Infected miners in the mine chose to evacuate with the Rhodes Island group.

The remaining elders, holding torches, surrounded the house where the enemies were imprisoned and set it on fire amidst the desperate screams of those inside.

Accompanied by the raging fire and several explosions from within the mining area, the mine entrance was reduced to Wu You, and the entire mining area was re-buried underground.

Just as Outcast was leading his team to clear the mine,

Kanna looked at the unconscious youth and found it a bit troublesome. She decided to go inside first to see if there were any first-aid medicines, just to save his life for now. Afterward, she figured she could just hand him over to Outcast.

After jumping downstairs and taking a look, she saw, oh, although all the guards were dead, the culprit, the noble youth and his mother, were miraculously still alive. However, his mother must have suffered a heavy blow, as she lay unconscious on the ground.

As for the youth, his eyes were bulging, and his mouth was wide open, looking completely terrified.

When he saw Kanna descend from the sky, he involuntarily lost control of his bladder.

Before she even got close, Kanna caught a disgusting smell and quickly stepped back a few paces with a look of distaste.

The youth, in turn, dutifully hid behind his mother, attempting to conceal himself with her broad and substantial body.

Seeing such a scene of filial piety, Kanna was momentarily stunned.

"Hey! Which room is your family's pharmacy in?"

Seeing that the other party didn't respond, Kanna lightly flicked her finger, and a bolt of lightning struck near him, scaring the youth into a flood of tears and snot.

"Ah ah ah ah ah ah! Don't kill me, don't kill me! It's on the left on the second floor, the pharmacy is on the left on the second floor!" Along with incredibly grotesque twitching and screaming, the youth revealed the location of the pharmacy.

"Why didn't you say so earlier!" Kanna leaped and crashed into the house.

Seeing Kanna disappear into the house, the youth initially wanted to escape, but found his legs too weak to even stand.

Just then, Kanna's footsteps came from upstairs.

After entering the pharmacy, she quickly found several hemostatic agents. As she was leaving, Kanna noticed a pure originium placed in the pharmacy. Thinking of the mother and son downstairs, a flash of inspiration crossed her mind.

For people like them, killing them would be too easy. Didn't they look down on and abuse the Infected? What if she turned these two into Infected? Wouldn't something very interesting happen then?

Walking out with the pure originium, Kanna saw the youth hiding to the side and his mother, who was still unconscious, and a slight smirk played on her lips.

She leaped outwards, and as she passed over their heads in mid-air, she took out the pure originium and squeezed it hard.

The pure originium burst into originium dust, covering both of them under the youth's desperate gaze.

After exiting, Kanna kindly closed the main door, ensuring the originium dust wouldn't be blown away for a while, and allowing the mother and son to inhale plenty of it.

After leaving, she first simply bandaged the youth, then placed him in an off-road vehicle. She stood and drove the car to a small grove outside the manor, hiding it there.

Then she looked in the direction of the mine.

Soon, with her superhuman vision, she easily observed the mine's guards rushing towards the manor.

A rough estimate showed dozens of vehicles, with no fewer than two hundred people inside.

Looking at this long line of off-road vehicles, Kanna only regretted that this was a stealth mission, so she wasn't allowed to carry weapons. Otherwise, with so many cars, slashing each one with a knife would surely feel incredibly satisfying.

After observing their route, Kanna decided to ambush them on the way. Thinking of this, she casually grabbed a black robe and concealed herself within it.

Looking at the approaching convoy, she vanished from her spot after a gust of wind, leaving only the phrase "Clad in armor, holding bits, raiding the camp as if entering an uninhabited land" in the empty forest.

At this moment, Baron Colin was furiously urging the convoy to speed up.

He knew that while the mine was valuable, most of its wealth belonged to the great dukes above him. His own wealth was largely in the manor, and if the manor were attacked, he could very likely go bankrupt directly.

Just as the convoy had covered two-thirds of the journey, several boulders, two to three meters in diameter, fell from the adjacent cliff, smashing towards the convoy.

However, this team was quite formidable in combat. Upon seeing the falling rocks, several dark figures darted out of the vehicles, meeting the boulders with flashes of blades, effortlessly shattering all of them.

"Everyone, watch your surroundings, the enemy has an ambush! This is not a suitable place for a fight, everyone follow me and accelerate to break through!"

Accompanied by Colin's shouts, the convoy's speed increased rather than decreased, accelerating towards the open area ahead.

Kanna on the cliff had originally intended to use the falling rocks to force them to stop here. Seeing their actions, she could only "tsk" and watch them drive off into the distance.

However, she had no intention of letting this convoy leave so easily.

Kanna performed a move like Lin Daiyu uprooting a weeping willow, pulling a large tree beside her out by its roots, then throwing it forcefully in the direction the convoy was heading.

To the terrified expressions of everyone in the convoy, a large tree descended from the sky, firmly blocking the road ahead of them.

"Damn it! Don't mind it, accelerate and ram through!" Seeing the obstruction, Colin became even more convinced that something had happened at home, so he ordered his subordinates to prepare to ram through.

Just as the lead car was about to reach it, the large tree seemed to be lifted by someone, flying into the air, and then, like a giant baseball bat, it swung fiercely at the approaching vehicle, sending it flying backward. It then crashed into the car behind it before coming to a stop.

"Home run! Tortoise would definitely say that if she saw this." A clear and childish voice came from behind the large tree.

Realizing they couldn't break through, everyone cautiously hid behind their vehicles with weapons, trying to scout what was behind the large tree.

Seeing this, Kanna skipped out from behind the tree.

"I said, what's your hurry! Let me think, how should I say this?

IC, IP, IQ cards, tell me all the passwords!

No, it should be: This tree is mine, this road I opened. If you wish to pass, leave your toll behind!

Ahem.

First time robbing, a bit clumsy. Everyone, please bear with me."

As she spoke, Kanna sat on the tree trunk blocking the road, crossing her legs, looking as if she wouldn't let them pass without money.
