Chapter 110 - Chapter 109: Are You Willing to Accompany Me Across the Galaxy?

Ido.

After hearing Tsunade's analysis, Itsuki immediately understood.

That "independent spiritual energy" inside Yakumo was her inner demon—Ido.

"Lady Tsunade, does this mean that even if Yakumo's body is cured, that spiritual energy may still threaten her?" Kurenai Yuhi asked worriedly.

She was the only one, aside from Itsuki, who knew the truth.

Yakumo's frail health had kept her from becoming a shinobi.

Unwilling to accept that, her heart gave birth to a demon. Under Ido's influence, Yakumo killed her parents and burned down her home.

Kurenai never dared to tell Yakumo.

Instead, Yakumo believed her parents had been killed on the Third Hokage's orders, with Kurenai as an accomplice.

"It's hard to say," Tsunade muttered, biting her lip.

"For now, I can't determine the source or exact nature of that energy. I'm not an expert in spiritual exploration. We may need the Yamanaka clan for that."

Kurenai hesitated, then explained Yakumo's "inner demon" to Tsunade privately through the harem chat group.

[Yuhi Kurenai: Lady Tsunade… Yakumo's demon isn't just some strange chakra. It's something she created from trauma—her inner self, Ido.]

"An inner demon?" Tsunade's frown softened a little.

That made things clearer. Eliminating Ido might not be impossible.

But curing Yakumo's heart… that was another story.

The one who tied the knot must untie it. The key was Yakumo herself.

If her parents were still alive, they could have told her she could become a shinobi with proper care, and her demon might have been defeated.

But now, with Yakumo having killed her parents with her own hands under Ido's influence, it wouldn't be easy to face that truth.

"It's not that troublesome!" Itsuki suddenly declared.

"Tell Sister Yakumo the truth. She's strong enough to face it."

Kurenai's expression changed immediately. "No!"

"The truth? What truth? What are you hiding from me?" Yakumo's voice was sharp, suspicion flashing in her eyes.

"Itsuki! What nonsense are you spouting?!" Kurenai snapped, but her flustered denial only made things more obvious.

Tsunade sighed. "At this point, I doubt we can keep it from her any longer."

She turned to Itsuki, curiosity in her eyes. "But how do you know so much?"

"There's nothing I can't see with these eyes," Itsuki said calmly, revealing his three-tomoe Sharingan.

"Sharingan?!" Shizune gasped.

Even Kurenai was startled—it was her first time seeing it.

Tsunade smacked her forehead. She'd almost forgotten about that ability of his.

"I'll use the Sharingan to suppress that energy," Itsuki continued. "And I've learned sealing techniques. I can use the same methods used for sealing tailed beasts—sealing Ido inside Yakumo's body."

"That way, she'll be able to gradually overcome that power and, in turn, grow stronger. But…" Itsuki smirked, "it basically means Sister Yakumo would become a kind of Jinchūriki."

Ido Jinchūriki?

Everyone froze at the thought.

While others were stunned, Tsunade was already analyzing.

"It's possible. If done correctly, Yakumo could not only become a shinobi, but a very powerful one. The inner demon would still exist, but its impact could be minimized. However…"

She looked at Itsuki seriously. "Are you certain you can suppress that spiritual energy? And what of your sealing skills?"

Tsunade knew he'd learned sealing from Kana, but only Itsuki knew how advanced he had become.

"Don't worry. It's fine." Itsuki gave an OK gesture with a grin.

He'd already examined Ido with his Sharingan.

It was powerful, yes, but not stronger than a three-tomoe Sharingan.

As long as Yakumo didn't merge with Ido to attack him, he could handle it.

"Since you're confident, I'll trust you," Tsunade said warmly, patting his shoulder.

Her expression softened. My nephew… you're more incredible than I ever imagined.

"Tsunade-sama…" Kurenai's heart still wavered.

She wanted to trust Itsuki like Tsunade did, but Yakumo's life was on the line.

One mistake, and she could die.

"Don't worry," Tsunade reassured her.

And in the chat group, she reminded Kurenai of something important—Itsuki was favored by the Itsuki Harem Chat Group.

That alone meant he was extraordinary, capable of things beyond anyone else.

Yakumo, who had been silent all this time, finally spoke.

Her head lowered, her voice cold. "So… will someone tell me what's happening? What is this other spiritual energy in me? What is this inner demon? What truth are you all hiding?"

Before the chill in her voice could spread, a large warm hand gently pressed onto her head.

Yakumo blinked up in surprise.

Itsuki smiled softly. "Sister Yakumo… would you like to travel across the galaxy with me?"

He looked up at the sky. "One day, I'll challenge those endless stars—not with illusions, but in reality. And I hope, when that day comes, you'll be by my side to see it."

Facing the Otsutsuki meant one day, crossing the galaxy was inevitable.

Itsuki wasn't boasting. He truly believed it—and was confident he could achieve it.

"Really… can you do that?" Yakumo's eyes trembled.

Her earlier questions forgotten, swept away by the vastness of his dream.

"I can." Itsuki turned to her and asked, "But are you… willing?"

"I… I want to! I'm willing!" Yakumo cried, gripping his arm tightly, her face alight with excitement and longing.

It felt like that dream was already within her reach.

Itsuki chuckled. "Then all you need to do is trust me completely. I'll take you closer, step by step. As long as you don't give up, I'll never abandon you."

"Okay!" Yakumo nodded firmly.

She wanted to see the sea of stars with her own eyes. All she had to do was follow Itsuki—and trust him.

After all, he was the god who once protected the galaxy.

And so, before the stunned eyes of the others, Yakumo gave her full trust to him.

Only Yakumo truly believed Itsuki could do it. The rest thought she had simply been charmed by his words.

Even Tsunade doubted he could really cross the galaxy.

But none of that mattered—Yakumo was willing to cooperate.

With a plan now in place, solving her problem was only a matter of time.

Itsuki activated his Sharingan and sent his spirit into Yakumo's body, quickly locating Ido.

The demon tried to resist. But against the Sharingan, even tailed beasts were vulnerable—let alone a mere inner demon.

And because Yakumo's thoughts had cleared and her trust in Itsuki was absolute, Ido was restricted—barely able to exert even a fraction of its true strength.

Itsuki used two layers of the Four Symbols Seal, merging them into the Eight Trigrams Seal—just like the Fourth Hokage had done with the Nine-Tails.

Ido was sealed inside Yakumo's body.

With the demon contained, Yakumo no longer pressed for the truth.

Kurenai let out a quiet sigh of relief.

The matter of Yakumo's parents could wait until she was stronger.

To completely overcome Ido, that truth would have to be faced one day.

Just as Naruto once faced his own darkness at the Waterfall of Truth…
