Enzo's sand drill rang out, as he shot forward head-first piercing down at Windbery who was currently on the ground.
A millisecond later, the ground parted as Enzo's sand drill barely missed Windbery's head.
'Can't let him up.'
Not giving a second of space, Enzo let go of the sand drill and directly punched Windbery straight in the face, causing pain to shoot up his head and making him spit out blood.
With that distraction he reached back for his sand drill and pulled it out.
But before he could thrust it at Windbery, a hard sensation struck him on his forehead, resulting in him losing his balance and falling to the side, right off of Windbery.
"Little fucker!!" Windbery muttered as he slowly got up, with a blood-stained forehead.
Enzo's head was harder than a rock, but he had no choice. However, before he could regain himself completely…

A chain came from out of nowhere; it quickly wrapped around Windbery's neck as Enzo pulled him toward him.
It was sudden and unexpected, but that headbutt was not enough to keep Enzo down. He quickly recoordinated and struck back in the most brutal way he could think of.
Since he didn't see it coming, before long Windbery was pulled directly into the line of attack of Enzo's sand drill. In a split second, Windbery was impaled directly in the stomach and his innards drilled into a mess.
The excruciating pain didn't allow for a proper reaction as he sat there screaming in agony.
Fortunately for him, before Enzo could deliver the defining blow.
"Die!!" A barely noticeable blade shone from the darkness behind him, as a katana cut directly for his neck.
"Shit!!" Enzo's eyes widened as he tucked his body in and fell into a desperate roll along the ground that saw him escape his execution, if nothing… but barely.
'I wasted too much time.'
Enzo beat himself up in his mind. he stared at the three in frustration. The plan was to at least kill the weakest one in the first 10 minutes.
This was the 10-minute mark and still no death; these guys lived up to their names, no doubt.
"You're a cocky little shithead, aren't you? Think you can take all of us on in a fight? Rich!! How about I cut off that leg of yours and beat you to death with it?" Dandan spoke with not only authority, but also anger.
Enzo, this little nobody, was not only insinuating that he could beat the former generals of the Vampire Queen all by himself; he seemed to be succeeding in doing so already.
The notion pissed him off, and he wanted revenge on Enzo just for thinking that.
'They are surrounding me.'
Enzo, of course, didn't care about Dandan's words; he only cared about the state of the battle and right now it seemed like he was about to be ganged up on.
Before he could say a word, Kara appeared in front of him and threw a feint, which he easily dodged, his eyes trailing her movements.
She was fast and nimble, her hands coiling around Enzo like snakes and hitting at the worst angles.
Enzo was barely keeping up with her movements….
In the next second, another variable was introduced as, from the corner of his eye, a beam of light tore through the darkness and barreled directly toward Enzo.
"Fuck!!" Enzo cursed as he allowed one of Kara's less lethal attacks to hit him square in the chest, allowing him to ride its momentum to dodge the beam of light.
These guys weren't playing fair anymore. To the side, Dandan smirked as he signaled to Windbery with a nod.
The person who had received the most from Enzo's assault was him. He was the best candidate to let loose on Enzo.

As if carried by the wind, Windbery zoomed toward Enzo in a split second, covering a considerable distance and striking at Enzo's jaw.
One of the other reasons Enzo had prioritized assassinating Windbery first was because of this. His ability.
It allowed him to move in short bursts in one direction with extreme speed. It felt like teleportation, but at the same time it wasn't; it was just too fast and hard to counteract.

Windbery drew back and pushed forward in almost an instant, throwing blows at Enzo from different angles.
'Shit, I'm cornered!!'
Enzo screamed in his head as he bit down on his lip, taking a series of blows from Windbery and Kara.
Each impact was massive and concurrent, causing blood to well up in his insides until they burst out, leaking from the corner of his mouth.
"Curses!!" Enzo said out loud in frustration.
