Nine cycles ago a woman entered a Hathin General Hospital extremely pregnant but also very injured. Her water had broken hours ago and she had been walking alone for a couple miles covered in blood and sweat. Passers stared but no one offered to help the woman as she never lifted her head and just kept walking in a daze. The woman seeing she was in the hospital then collapsed without saying a word to anyone.
Emergency response personnel quickly headed over to the pregnant woman and quickly assessed her situation, getting her into a room to remove the child and keep the woman alive. The doctors were able to save the baby but the woman had died moments after the baby left her. The baby was taken away and given all the proper care a brand new baby would receive.

In the normal pregnancy wing of the hospital James and Lana Ierdna were holding hands as Lana was pushing with all her might to get her quadruplets out. The two of them had tried for cycles and now relied on science to step in and of course got over cooked. The scans showed three girls and a boy and both of them were overjoyed as they were hoping twins would happen so they could have multiple children and only endure one pregnancy.
The first girl popped out and they had agreed upon Lana's mother's name Julia. The second girl popped out and Natalie screamed to both of them as they decided the second one would just be decided once they saw her. Then complications happened and the doctors and nurses started to hustle and move around in hushed whispers.
James could sense the shift in the room and squeezed Lana's hands which caused her to frown and show concern. He whispered "It's ok, you're doing great!" trying to reassure his wife. Then the door opened and closed to the room and James wasn't sure if someone just left or entered. A third baby cry was then heard and Lauren was presented to them.
A few minutes went by and the whispers had continued but he had not seen his boy yet. He didn't know what he wanted to call him, if he would give him the family name his father refused to give him. He was now starting to get worried and voiced it "Where is my son?"
The doctor froze for a minute and then turned and pulled down his mask so that the man asking him could see his expressions. "There were complications, it appears the umbilical cord was wrapped tightly and we rushed the baby off to ICU to revive him. We will bring him back as soon as we can."
Lana, hearing the word revive started to panic "Did he just say revive?" in a frantic shout. A nurse came over and in a calm almost whispering voice she lightly stated "Mam, please calm down, your son will be fine, we need you to relax as you are being healed back right now."

In the ICU there were two baby boys that were brought in at the same time. One was hanging on for its life while the other no longer had any life in it. The nurses frantically worked on both attaching equipment and devices as quickly as they could to help revive the lifeless baby.
Two of the nurses were standing outside of the two rooms talking about what was taking place. "This one has 3 siblings and got caught up in the umbilical cord, lifeless, while this one is holding on for its life and has no one to take care of him" The two nurses gave each other a look and didn't say anything else. They handed each other the charts of the two babies and never spoke of it again.
The baby boy holding onto its life was able to recover and started breathing with a slight rasp to it. The ICU deemed the baby was stable and healthy enough to be released back to the parents. James and Lana were lying in the hospital bed with all three girls asleep in between their arms, Natalie and Lauren were in Lana's arms and Julia was in James' right arm next to Lana and Natalie.
"Well hello there Andrei!" James claimed as the nurse handed the boy to his father. The four of them snuggled up together with Lana and James just staring at their new boy so thankful he survived.

One month ago a planet known as "Outalomnonum" located in a solar system had a triple star and being the largest planet in the system all the life forms were enormous. Jazzoline, a Sandarian Queen, was seen lying on the floor void of life. Her thousand eggs had been left alone as no one knew of their existence now that their mother had perished.
The first egg to hatch popped out a unique Sandarian, one that had clear transparent spikes with red tips on the end. He had cracked open his egg and sent the shells flying in all directions as life had burst onto him causing him to stretch his body out as quickly as possible.
The force that he broke open caused multiple other eggs to crack and some of them never fully opened, while others that were cracked were the next to come alive.
The Sandarian hatched didn't know what to do but saw others popping out of eggs so he started to smash the other eggs trying to get the others out. Not knowing he was killing them in the process. Some broke out and attacked him and fights started to break out amongst the hatched.
More and more broke open and withIn the hour all had hatched and everyone of them was in a full out fight for their lives. The ones that were the strongest and luckiest were thinning out the rest and the original 1,000 eggs were down to 5 hatched all looking at each other out of breath covered in the blood of their siblings.
The clear spiked one with a gruff voice spoke up "We are the best of them, I say we live as the rest were weak, mother's last word was Outalomnonum so that is my name what shall we call each of you?"
The first to speak had three spikes on his tail so he decided he wanted to be called "Trip" for this triple spiked tail. The second one then decided it had a red chest that the rest did not so "Red" was its name. The third was a queen who wanted to be named "Xena" and the rest gave a confused but who cares look. The fourth had only solid plates that came to a blunt end, he beat everyone with the blunt part, "Blunt" was his choice.
A week later they had been traveling the planet in search of food when they came across a spaceship from the Galactic Federation Military. They hadn't eaten and were weak and surrendered to the overwhelming numbers of military personnel.
The five of them were brought back to health and offered positions in the military quickly as they were known to be formidable warriors. They were all put through a series of testing and each was offered their choice of assignment.
Outalomnonum requested to be put in the best new squad available and was sent to Hathin to join Death Squad.

Most people in the galactic federation don't pay close attention to the other species so most don't understand how the Elryn are born with abilities in Nature. They learn the abilities from each other as well as genetics give greater strengths to different Nature abilities.
When you're a pirate ship and you find out that you have a small infant gifted in putting people to sleep you soon grow a reputation as most pirates would use force and steal everything including the ship that they attacked. "Gold Digger" had that reputation as they would rob you of your valuables and you would wake up in your own beds with a note with GD in golden ink.
The "Gold Digger" had an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) weapon that was good at disabling ships and then they would dock onto the ship. They discovered ways to get Jiks on board in lots of varieties of ways. Their favorite was dressing the infant up in too large of clothes and having her stumble into the ship which would get everyone off guard. She would then look up and shoot out of her sleep vines that would release a puff of sleeping pollen in the person's face.
One time they put her in the air ducts of the ship and she crawled all the way to the bridge of the ship. Then put the captain asleep as he was the only one on board. The entire ship was trapped with defensive measures that would have taken them hours to get through, Jiks made it possible in under 30 minutes.
The "Gold Digger" was drifting one day in space when a distress signal was placed and it had a high reward attached to it. While pirates don't always respond to distress signals, this one was close and the reward was too much for them to pass on.
They arrived at the distress signal location and found a single vessel floating in space venting the atmosphere like the distress signal claimed. What they didn't know was a rival pirate syndicate had sprung the trap for anyone to respond. When the "Gold Digger" was close to the distressed vessel another vessel appeared at a great distance but was not picked up by GD.
Jiks watched as all the people she grew up with were slaughtered. Her mother and herself were taken captive and while in transit the leader had come in and taken her mother away. She never saw her mother again.
A week later the ship was attacked and boarded by Galactic Military and Jiks was released from her prison and taken into custody where they nourished her back to health. The pirates had given her little to no substance so she was weak and exhausted when they first found her.
The military vessel's commander offered her an option to join the military and that they had an elite unit she would be a good fit for, the next day she arrived on Hathin to meet Death Squad.

"Dreed" was a planet that many believed was lawless. The Galactic Federation had established a settlement over 100 cycles ago but the attraction never really gained much steam. Those that lived on the planet had created their own laws as the planet was quite unique.
The rivers were not made of water, but of liquid iron. The unique properties of the iron on the planet would pool up and flow around as the planet rotated and orbited its sun. Their planet was also void of normal life. The beasts were harvested for their cores as they made the best shields known in the galaxy from a tier standpoint.
Water became currency since there wasn't a natural source it had to be transported. They had attempted to crash an ice comet into the planet and the ozone layer deflected the ice comet. They attempted to retrieve the ice comet only to destroy it trying to turn it around.
Surany was one of 10 kids to the local sheriff. When you're the youngest of 10 you tend to either be completely overly coddled or completely forgotten about. Surany always felt she was the latter. Her mother would work the front desk at the sheriff's office while her father was the law for the last 25 cycles.
Surany was the last Johnson to attend Dreed's Military Academy and they wanted to make sure that the sheriff's last daughter would make a name. They fudged some of her scores and offered her up to the SPRU.
