Miya continued flying as her human side slowly descends into nothingness. She analyzes the area, seeing if there's even one little leakage of mana around or in the buildings.
She had found nothing.
Miya continued flying and sensed another one of the fragment crystals. She flew in and landed, then took the fragment crystal as it shatters.
Four fragment crystals down... now.. how many is there do I need to collect? Her mind wanders on the number of fragment crystals she has to gather up.
Vōniur continued searching, until he immediately noticed the mana level from Miya had spiked up drastically. It was becoming much that it had reached infinity.
Her mana level had became infinite... even after the fourth fragment crystal... how powerful is this Ultimate Goddess....? Vōniur questioned the existence of the Ultimate Goddess.
He immediately knew that collecting and taking the powers and memories from these said crystals came at such a high price of existence.
It slowly wipes out more of Miya's human side, but it wasn't just her human side that was getting overwritten with nonexistence, but it was also her emotions.
The conceptual-level emotion erasure was overriding her emotions, as it slowly creates a nonexistent void in her that makes her emotionless. Empty inside. Like someone who had broken up with their partner, then which opened up an empty, dark void in them.
I see... so it isn't just my human side being erased... I can no longer feel anger.. and I assume... it's random. Miya's thoughts started feeling her emotions being overwritten.
It's scary, truly is terrifying, but if I can somehow overwrite nonexistence to keep myself from departing reality, then that would be nice.. she thinks about overwriting nonexistence, but sweat drips a bit from her forehead, signaling she thinks it's impossible to overwrite something that is nonexistent and will stay like that.
The Time Trial Society had left the universe entirely, and is looking for the Time Source to erase it.
Vōniur could sense their immense mana level as he teleports to Miya.
"Hey. Miya. They're outside of this universe, and is on the search. They think that as long as they can get far from you, they can succeed in destroying the Time Source." says Vōniur calmly.
Miya nodded as anger was now depleted from her. Vōniur knew the consequences of collecting these said crystals. He knew, after collecting all the crystals, won't make her human anymore, but a goddess.
"Ok... we should head over to them then." says Miya calmly as she started flying into space, then outside of the universe with Vōniur.
Vōniur hadn't felt concerned before, but it was different now. He was worried she might lose herself going onto this journey.
A once happy girl... transcending into godhood. True Goddess and True God, two of the highest existence and rankings in life. Her potential is limitless now, she can fight for years or even centuries without exhaustion. Could it be? No. If she became a True Goddess, then she'll have the power to destroy everybody and wipe out all of existence.. including concepts and nonexistence as a whole. Vōniur's long thought had worried him as they flew through the void that lurks outside of the physical universe.
Ren had found the Time Source, and had already planned on ending all countless timelines.
The Time Source, once destroyed, only targets all parallel timelines that branched off of the main timeline.
Ren was about to destroy the Time Source, but he noticed his hand was severed completely. That was then his entire body collapsed from also being severed.
Shoko glanced over noticing his body, cut into pieces. Her eyes widened.
"Who did that?" says Shoko as other low ranking members of the Time Trial Society had stepped back in fear.
"I did." Vōniur says as he floats in front of her.
"Don't think you'll destroy the timelines without getting past me." says Vōniur, with a commanding tone.
"Miya, take out the others, ok?" he says with a smile.
Miya nodded as she goes towards the lower ranked members, while Vōniur glares at Shoko.
Her calmness stayed as they both vanished. Miya, who had just finished off the lower ranked members of the Time Trial Society, the so-called "clash" between Vōniur and Shoko, was purely one-sided.
Vōniur had kept dodging all of Shoko's attacks with ease, merely just toying with her.
"Stop moving you snake!" says Shoko SS her anger was starting to boil.
"Try to catch me first got it? At least try to do some damage to me as well while you're at it!" he shouts as he moves far away from Shoko.
Shoko then uses [Imaginary Magic: Hollowed Shell of Darkness] in which fires off beams of nihilistic energy towards Vōniur.
He had avoided it with ease, even though her magic was traveling at a speed that is beyond space and time.
[Bind Breaker]
Vōniur had used his [Bind Breaker] to destroy and remove the connections to her and her abilities and mana storage.
Shoko's eyes widened in shock as she noticed she couldn't use her abilities or even have access to her [Infinite Mana Dimension] which is her mana storage filled up infinitely with mana for her to use.
"You don't have infinite mana do you? I locked your ass out of your own dimension, how funny is that?" says Vōniur as he laughs mockingly.
"You know Shoko, you're one of the weakest person I've faced in centuries. Even Miya could defeat you with one foul swoop. It's interesting to me that they even let a girl like you to even be in the Time Trial Society." says Vōniur as he continues making fun of Shoko for even existing and how weak she is.
Shoko's pride was hurt, she always believed she was powerful through her set of magic spells and physical skills.
"You... piece of shit! Weakest? Yeah right! Miya is the weakest one here! Even I can erase her from existence! I'm glad she's slowly becoming less human! You know what? I'm glad that even now, she's reminded of something she dislikes. Losing somebody." her insults threw Miya and Vōniur off guard.
"You don't know do you? About the fragment crystals?" he says as his smile faltered.
"What? The fragment crystals? I know they give you power and memories of that deceased god or goddess! What do you know about them huh?" shouts Shoko as her anger is boiling up.
"You lose your humanity and your emotions gets wiped out slowly each one you collect, leading Miya to slowly transcend into godhood. So don't talk about a friend of mine like that. If you had no friends and lack love and attention, just say that." says Vōniur with a calming tone.
She's just like a child who doesn't know what's right and wrong... I can see why she insulted me like that. "No friends and lack love and attention" huh? That doesn't excuse her insults towards me though.. her mind wandered and repeated the sentence from Vōniur as she watched it all unfold.
Shoko stood there in shock from his retaliation.
"You make it sound like I don't know my right and wrongs! I'm exactly 1,500 years old! I'm an adult here!" Shoko continues to shout as she started throwing a temper tantrum.
She's... throwing a temper tantrum? Right now? She can't be an adult if she's like this... her thoughts remained calm and unfazed about the situation.
"You're just a newborn child to us older immortals. 1,500 years old is a eight year old... in our age." says Vōniur as he sighs in disbelief and disappointment.
"I hate you... I hate you so much!" Shoko continued shouting and crying as she flails around.
Her crying had stopped, as her head completely falls off as well as her body being in multiple pieces.
"So annoying." says Vōniur as he glances over at Miya, knowing she finished a long time ago.
Miya watched in interest. She enjoyed how everything unfolded in front of her, but yet, part of her feels bad for Shoko.
"That was... interesting. Although, she was a bit hurtful." says Miya as she floats around with Vōniur.
"Yeah. But she's just a kid in terms of immortality aging. She hasn't been around for that long either unlike us, and she was our enemy to so I did what I had to do." says Vōniur as he explains.
"I guess." Miya floats on her back as has some thoughts about the conflict.
Few Hours Later...
They hadn't done anything, waiting for more of the Time Trial Society to come in, but no one came through.
Miya sighs and started going back down to the Physical Realm with Vōniur.
It hadn't hit Miya that something or someone could be watching their every move again.
"To be fair, killing a child like Shoko wasn't a great idea. If I were you, I would've let her go." says Miya, calmly.
"Yes. But she'd cause more trouble. Kids like her don't listen and that's fine, but with her attitude, she'd go out and harm others verbally and physically." Vōniur adds onto Miya's claim of letting Shoko go as he remains calm.
Miya sighed. She walked around with him, but she felt like something is off or something is missing.
She had an odd feeling. Miya had already understood the situation completely, but yet... she rubs it off completely like dust.
