Miya and Vōniur were walking around in the Physical Realm, as for the Time Trial Society, the owner and founder, Ruben Winchester, was sitting in his office, until one of his guards came in.
"Sir! We got a problem!" shouts the guard as he barged into his office.
"What is it...?" says Ruben calmly.
"Rudrius is knocked out in space, Shoko and Ren were killed by Miya and Vōniur!" yells the guard.
Ruben sighs with disappointment as he stood up. He then walks up to the guard with a calm expression.
"Send out the God Killer, Samuel Fujimoto... and make sure he's prepared." says Ruben as the guard leaves, trembling in fear from Ruben's menacing voice.
Samuel, who sat in his room all day, was playing with a tennis ball as it bounces back from the wall.
He continued playing with the tennis ball, until the guard had knocked on his door.
"What is it!" he shouts as he stands up.
"You're getting sent out to fight. Get ready." says the guard, still trembling from Ruben's presence.
"Ugh... probably some weak bastards I have to kill... just tell him to send someone else." says Samuel as he groans.
"It's Miya and Vōniur... they're the one who did it." says the guard.
"What? They're weak as hell! Get somebody else to do it! I'm on break!" Samuel shouts at the guard which startled him.
The guard nods and ran to Ruben, trembling in fear.
"S-sir! Samuel didn't want to go!" says the guard, stammering.
"That piece of shit, I'm getting his ass to move regardless." says Ruben, carrying a serious tone in his voice as he walks to Samuel's room.
Ruben started banging on Samuel's door repeatedly.
"Get your ass up now!" Ruben shouts as Samuel glances over.
"Fuck.... fine!" Samuel groans loudly as he gets ready.
"Good... I'll give you your damn women later as a reward if you survive and complete this mission." says Ruben, calmly.
Samuel sighs and leaves his room, fully prepared as Ruben stood there watching him leave.
Miya and Vōniur on the other hand, walked to the bar, and entered.
They both sat down sitting in front of the bartender. It was Li Yuan. Li notices Miya, but doesn't recognize Vōniur whatsoever.
"Who's this? A friend of yours Miya?" says Li Yuan, confused.
"Yeah. His name is Vōniur." says Miya as she introduces him.
Vōniur smiles as he waves at Li Yuan. Li Yuan sighs as he passes her a drink. Miya started drinking the glass shot of whiskey.
"So, what brings you both in here today? Did something happen?" says Li Yuan calmly.
"Yeah, apparently this group known as the Time Trial Society is trying to destroy all but our timeline, and it seems the ones they sent weren't as strong as we expected so we need you in case if shit happens..." says Miya as she sighs.
Li Yuan stared at her confused and took a deep breath and exhaled.
"Well... I don't fight anymore. Sorry Miya. You're on your own." he says as he sighs in guilt.
"Aww man, well I guess I tri-" Miya was cut off by a loud kick to the door, which was kicked open.
It was Samuel, who had kicked it open. Everyone glanced to their left, as Samuel walked in.
"Is Miya and Vōniur here?" says Samuel with a tired expression and lazy tone.
"Who must you be?" says Li Yuan as he becomes cautious about what's going to happen.
"Samuel. I'm just here for Miya and Vōniur. That's it." says Samuel as he stretches.
"What business do you have with them Samuel...?" Li Yuan's voice became more cautious each second, worrying about their safety.
"Why do you care? You're just a bartender so quit asking questions and tell me who's Miya and Vōniur..." Samuel was becoming impatient and he was getting irritated.
Both Miya and Vōniur glared at him as they focused on him than anything else around them. Li Yuan sighed as he stood there.
"Please leave if you're going to cause a problem here." says Li Yuan as he remained calm.
"Or what?" Samuel tried to provoke Li Yuan into fighting, as he sensed his mana level which is infinite.
"I'll have to kick your ass out of my bar..." says Li Yuan as he puts down the shot glass on the bar countertop.
Samuel glances at him as he walked up into his face. He didn't flinched like usual people who gets up into their faces. He stood there unfazed.
He sighed and turned around, but immediately disappeared, then his punches had sent Vōniur and Miya through the bar and walls.
Li Yuan glances over and sighed in disappointment.
"That's how you want to play this game then huh? Well then, I guess I'll have to intervene this fight..." he says calmly as he took his coat off, his sleeves were rolled up while in his bartender outfit.
Time had stopped to a halt completely. Then time resumed a second later as Samuel glanced downwards to see he now gained a large hole, almost blowing his entire body off.
He collapsed, his blood forms a large puddle on the bar floor. Li Yuan gestures the janitor to clean up the bloodied floor and the body.
Samuel, had died the instant time and space has came to a halt.
Li Yuan would walk over to Miya and Vōniur to check up on them, and noticed the damage Samuel had dealt.
He used [Herbary Heal] in which uses heals from a herb garden to heal up severe wounds and reattach limbs.
"D-Damn! What happened!" shouts Miya as she woke up with Vōniur next to her.
"You both had taken damage on the ribs which caused damage, in so I healed you both. My healing is pretty advanced so I can heal any wound and injuries that are severe." says Li Yuan calmly as he helps them both up.
"Thanks Li... what happened to Samuel?" says Miya as she rubs all the dusts from her clothes as well as Vōniur.
"Oh he's dead. I took care of him." says Li Yuan as he cleans rverything up.
"Holy shit! Really? Who are you exactly?" Miya's voice carried curiousity as Li Yuan glances at them.
"Li Yuan, ancient spirit of war, pleasure to meet you both." Li Yuan introduces himself again.
Her eyes widened as well as Vōniur, but it wasn't out of surprise for him, it was out of shock.
"Wait... you're THE ancient spirit of war? Damn... didn't think a bartender would be one of the Ancient Spirits..." Vōniur had sounded more shock than surprised.
"So... you said the Time Trial Society is trying to destroy all the countless timelines but this? Do you know where they are hidden?" says Li Yuan as he stretches his arms and legs.
"Yeah... they are. Their location is.. I'm not completely sure." says Miya, unsure about the specific location.
"Then I can find them..." says Li Yuan as his third eye opens, now using [Clairvoyance].
His [Clairvoyance] allows him to see through streamlines that is connected to the different multiverses and dimensions and worlds.
Li Yuan had his eyes closed but his third eye, in which allows him to see better through the streamlines.
"Found them..." says Li Yuan, calmly as he stood there.
"The Liminal World. A place that the Time Trial Society hangs around. While although they are secretive, unless one has clairvoyance, they will stay hidden without it. To be fair, it's a liminal space." says Li Yuan as they left the bar.
"I see..." says Miya as she rubs her chin as she thinks.
"I'll head over there alone, and don't worry about me, I can handle them." says Li Yuan as he disappears.
Li Yuan had appeared in the Liminal World and glances around to find the members.
"Where are they..." Li Yuan continues to find the members.
He continued examining the area, but yet he couldn't find anyone. It had seemed like they went into hiding. Or they had compressed their presence.
He had used [Clairvoyance] again, then he had found them.
Also, he could use his [Clairvoyance] to teleport to the specific person he wanted to target.
Li Yuan then silently killed them one by one, until he found Ruben.
"Hey Ruben.." says Li Yuan calmly with his hand up.
Ruben turns over, seeing he was in front of him. As he turned over, he throws a punch, but yet, Li Yuan had grabbed his arm and pinned him on the wall.
"So Ruben, explain. Why would you like to destroy all timelines?" Li Yuan asks curiously, but with a soft, calming tone.
Ruben eyes widened as he was pinned to the wall. Li Yuan, had put fear into Ruben just from one singular move.
"I found and made Time Trial Society because it was meant to have a belief on a single timeline... single universe is fine, but parallel timelines is basically illegal in our rule book.." says Ruben as he explains the rule of his organization.
"Is that so? Regardless, you're destroying different events of history. You can come up with hypotheticals,and destroy and create it infinitely. Destroying since thing as the timelines, you can't re-create that back without a certain ability." says Li Yuan as his grip on his arm tightens while is placed over his head.
Ruben tries to move, but Li's grip was too strong for him to escape.
"You know... there's other organizations that are out there that are willing to destroy the timelines..." Ruben explains while Li Yuan listens.
He sighs in disappointment, he was exhausted of listening to him already, so he killed him.
Blood splattered all over his clothes. Li Yuan left, then he never came back to the universe ever again, in which he destroys the Liminal World completely, oblitering it to dust and ashes.
